I used old dollars. If Bitcoin was priced in pre-inflated money, then it wouldn't be worth the helium in the balloon.
In MEPR terms, I bet I could tweak my filter to block all of the gamblers who are playing Bitcoin games. I really don't care what they say as long as they aren't wasting my time by expecting me to see it. However, it's a bit hard to figure out which MEPR dimensions would be most useful in this specific case... High on gullibility? Low on risk aversion?

On more thought, I decided I had to change to "Yes", but it's still a really stupid poll. If someone is being paid to prepare these polls, it's too much money.
But considering the wild oscillations of cryptocurrencies, it is almost certain that any cryptocurrency will "hit" any value at some time. Real value is a completely different thing, and however skeptical you think I am about the "real value" of cryptocurrencies, in reality I am MORE skeptical than that.

If "all the metrics" were pointing to that with high reliability, then the price would be nearly $200k right now, discounted only for the time value of money over the course of the year.
Bitcoin remains an asset of pure speculation. One of the ironic things is that while Bitcoin advocates talk about it like it's a "hedge against inflation", it's actually the most inflation-susceptible asset you can get, and moves directly opposite to treasury rates (most notably seen over the past week, but also in past cycl

Crypto currencies are just NFTs for money In the sense that they are intangible and ultimately worthless, yes. Each bitcoin is fundamentally only a receipt to say something used a lot of energy to calculate an arbitrary sum which proved nothing other than that some work was done. It is worthless. Cash in. Be the first. Get out now.

Constant bombardment about crypto from absolutely everywhere is (obviously) getting on my nerves. It hits me hardest here because it was the one place I trusted for interesting brain fodder, and I'm just sad about it.
