Go read up on how many other species rely on the Mosquito for survival. Larvae is a source of food for fish, countless other insects eat adults. They all have a place in the food chain and extinction would be devastating.

As with killer bees, yes things can go seriously wrong when trying to 'help' nature do it's job.

Take for example a bull that breaks through a fence and breeds with some of my cattle. Do I have to pay a breeding fee for you bull's "service" to my herd? No.

Actually, that's a really bad example. It has been a point of contention throughout history. In fact, IIRC, the Old Testament sets forth rules on that very topic.

I'd be inclined to say 'amazing' for the price. I understand the use case for rPi, beaglebone black, cubieboard, etc. when you need video and actually good GPIO(even more so if you need proper PWM, i2c/SPI, etc. BBblack, especially, has some pretty powerful specialty I/O options); but routers are so aggressively priced that they are often a pretty good deal for adding network capabilities to assorted projects on the fast and cheap.

I'm always up for other suggestions, of course; but I'm currently a big fan of the little 'travel/portable' routers that the RT5350 seems to have spawned a bunch of. Ethernet, USB, 802.11B/G/N, typically a serial port(I got lucky with the ones I purchased, the pads were even labelled and everything), and a few GPIOs, all for $15 or less. Kind of weak (usually 32MB RAM and ~400MHz MIPS core); but feel the price.

Browsing tends to imply a cursory style of reading, while I would characterize what I do more like detailed studying, which can sometimes require me to look back or forward one page or so because the text may be describing something that is illustrated or presented on the preceding or following page. But I do not read books cover to cover, any more than STEM students generally read their class textbooks from cover to cover. One typically advances directly to the chapter of interest, and reads the relevant material to whatever they wish to study.
