Summary: A software for virtual meetings. Can even conduct webinars with it with admins having rights such as to mute users. Great software especially during the pandemic.

Positive: Easy to use. Functions such as virtual background and sharescreen are perfect for meetings. Software is also smooth and rarely experienced lag.

Negative: 40 mins limit of group meeting for free user. Another way is to start another meeting after time is up.

Summary: Overall its been pretty smooth, the breakout rooms function is great, and the whiteboard function has been really great as well where we can all share ideas for everyone to see.

Positive: Super smooth stream, use it all the time for community virtual catch ups. I rarely experience lags.

Negative: The time limit for the free basic package can get annoying, and sometimes I have to rename myself in the chat box due to the name reverting to the name I first used when I used Zoom.

Summary: It accomplished what it's there for. No complaints. It was necessary, and I appreciate that they had the infrastructure in place to support so many business and personal needs during a national shut down.

Positive: Video conferencing software is very easy, intuitive to use. You could set security settings as high or as low as you need for them to work for your audience. It transferred well between work, church, and personal life.

Negative: I feel like we used it by default simply because it was what everyone was familiar with. I did not appreciate the 45 minute cap on calls with more than 3 people if you weren't paying for premium service.

Summary: Much easier to use and setup meetings than other products, but could benefit from better quality audio and focus less on video.

Positive: It allows you to use it for free for short meetings with many people, and via the web with no need to install anything.

Negative: The audio quality is not always the best when compared to other solutions.

Summary: With the ability of most anyone to download and use this software Zoom was a vital tool. Being able to connect to both Colleagues and Customers for a clear line of communication helped us stay in contact and never miss a beat.

Positive: When the pandemic hit Zoom allowed meetings to be conducted with minimal interruption. The ability to use this service helped to maintain a communication line that was vital.

Negative: Software glitches sometimes meant having to reconnect or download the app again.

Summary: Overall, this is the safest bet for anyone, especially educators, needing video conferencing features. While it may have some annoying features, it's what people use and know these days, and it's best to just stick with that usually.

Positive: Zoom provides a fantastic platform for educators and tutors, or any consultant or coach, to meet with students and clients. The Whiteboard feature is generally useful, and the privacy elements like blocking out background, screen recording opt-in or opt-out, waiting rooms for clients, and others are very useful. In general, it's just "the" software to use for teachers and educators, so kids are also very good with it at this point too.

Negative: That said, Zoom is not perfect, and clearly aimed more for business than education. Which is fine, but I do wish their education features were a little more educator-friendly. For example, the Whiteboard, while useful, makes it difficult to go back and forth between text, annotations, symbols, font colors, etc. There is a bit too much clicking involved.

Summary: Zoom has helped us tremendously over this past year, and honestly will still be useful once covid is completely in the past. It simply makes meetings easier.

Positive: Zoom made it possible to have a functioning meeting connecting people across states and countries. Breakout rooms are especially useful for seminars. The most critical feature is the ability to share screens, so that the presenter can easily demo while everyone else watches.

Negative: Most Zoom issues can be attributed to less tech-savvy user error.

Summary: Overall, Zoom is an amazing platform to host meeting, webinars and online classes. There are numerous useful features that zoom provides also on the free version.

Positive: - The host can easily record the sessions for future use.
- It is fairly easy to schedule meetings and invite participants through links.
- Multiple participants can share their screens and audio simultaneously.

Negative: - The free version of the software only allows calls up to 40 minutes, and after that, the meeting ends abruptly.

Summary: Overall this is a great way to communicate with people especially when I cannot be with them in person. I am able to regularly meet with my friends and co-workers.

Positive: Zoom allows me to see and communicate with people when I can't go and be with them in person. I've been using it regularly since the beginning of the Covid lockdowns back in early 2020. It's simple to use and understand.

Negative: I really don't have any complaints about this software so far.

Summary: Zoom is overall a quite effective software for both personal and professional use. It is equipped with various features to make the experience seamless.

Positive: - The feature of Zoom is that you can record the meeting for future use.
- It lets you choose the background of your frame from various virtual backgrounds.
- It is easy to use and cost-effective.

Negative: - It demands and strong and stable internet connection to function.
- There is a time constraint of 40 minutes for meetings.

Summary: Zoom is a great way to remain connected virtually with a multitude of users. From business to connecting with family Zoom makes it easy to virtually meet. It kept me in business during the pandemic.

Positive: Zoom allowed me to pivot my business during the pandemic and has kept me in business as the world has shifted. I was able to easily offer my services over Zoom to all of my clients with few issues. The ability to log into meetings without downloading an app made it easy for those uncomfortable with technology to join. I like that I can record my sessions for editing and use later.

Negative: The price point is a bit high for the limited use I get out of the program. There are issues with the video on some of my devices. Using Zoom on my phone and tablet is not as easy as I would like it to be. I wish there were more adjustments to the quality of the sound.

Summary: If you have a tight budget you can use it for free with few restriction.
You can screen share as well as enable real time caption generate.
It is globally acceptable.

Positive: - It let you do 40mins meeting for free for unlimited times.
- It can handle hundreds of participant, hence mostly used for seminars.
- You can join a meeting via a link.

Negative: - The security is a concern as it gives one touch access to meetings, meetings get harder to be protected.

Summary: Overall, Zoom is a great platform to host and attend meetings, webinars and online conferences. The paid version can a bit expensive, but it offers almost all the features in free version too.

Positive: 1. It provides all the necessary features to attend or conduct a virtual meeting.
2. The limit of the meeting is 100 participants, that is enough for any meeting or conference.
3. There is keyboard shortcut available for almost all the features that comes very handy during meetings.

Negative: 1. The limit for meetings on the free version is only 40 minutes, that is very less and should be increased.
2. It starts to lag a lot as soon as you share the screen, if you are operating it on a low-end PC.

Summary: Zoom has taken off with the pandemic and work from home, and is almost the default tool used. However, it lacks integration with other software such as Microsoft Teams, and it's hard to use other applications on top of Zoom apart from the sharing screen functionality.

Positive: -Ease of setting up with corporate account
-Widely used and recognized by other professionals
-Few bugs and lag encountered when used

Negative: -Expensive for personal uses
-Alternatives available with similar functionalities

Summary: It is mildly intuitive. Areas like name change are buried within the program and takes a few clicks to get there.

Positive: Love the background options! The break out chats are very helpful for collaborating or holding a competition.

Negative: The free trail does not let you experience all the options that are out there.
