Summary: It has been easy to setup and use, i am excited to use some of the learning tools to better utilize all the features.

Positive: Beginner friendly, easy to navigate the site, easy to fix mistakes and LOVE the free learning tools to help setup different aspects.

Negative: Wish i could take an entire course on sage accounting, fee isn't a one fee for everything , you do have to pay for extras like payroll.

Summary: Overall, since I began using this service I have saved so much time with paper work. It now takes me a fraction of the effort.

Positive: Nothing but good to say for the platform. Very straight forward. Makes life a lot easier. Easy to navigate and use.

Negative: There's not much that can be improved. However one thing that I would like is a profit percentage displayed when making invoices.

Summary: An amazing resource that will allow us to fully utilize the software, making it easier for us to communicate with our employees.

Positive: SAGE HR gives us the option to allow our employees to keep up to date with all of their addresses, tax information, PTO. Amazing, and powerful resource for us.

Negative: Nothing. So far it is worked wonderfully and the customer support has been great.

Negative: Only thing that can improve is to have flexibility of not being charged per month as an owner of the company.

It's very fair priced compared to other programs, easy to learn and use.

Positive: I've been using Sage for basic HR and for Payroll and I love how easy it was to learn.
They have a great support when you need it and many questions and answers that you can find on the program to help you.

Negative: I don't know if I have any cons at the moment, I haven't been using this program very long yet.

Summary: Overall I enjoy using Sage HR and like the features that are included with it. I would recommend the program to others.

Positive: Love Sage HR! It is easy to use. Keeping track of hours, holidays and pay is simple. Also, if a mistake is made you can quickly change it and edit. I also like that you can include Comments with your weekly or daily time sheets.

Negative: The only thing I have not figured out how to do is change my password. I think it would be helpful for there to be an option to do so.

No cons other than the price which is a bit much considering I am also a user of Sage accounting so I pay for that already.

Summary: I would highly recommend Sage HR to any small or medium-sized business that needs a simple and affordable HR solution. Sage HR is a great tool that helps me streamline my HR processes and engage my employees better. It is one of the best HR software I have ever used.

Positive: I have been using Sage HR for a few months now and I am very satisfied with their service and customer support. Sage HR is a cloud-based HR software that helps me manage my employees' data, leave requests, timesheets, performance reviews, and expenses. It is very easy to use and has a user-friendly interface. The software automates many tedious tasks and saves me a lot of time and hassle.

Negative: The customer support of Sage HR is also excellent. Whenever I have a question or an issue, I can contact them via phone, email, or chat and they always respond quickly and professionally. They are very helpful and friendly and they always try to solve my problems as soon as possible. They also provide regular updates and new features to improve the software.

Summary: Loved working with the implementation team. Set-up was easy and straightforward. The price point was excellent.

Positive: Sage HR was user friendly with a lot of useful features. It solved a lot of our problems. The customer service was excellent.

Negative: Inability to accrue sick hours as we needed. Inconsistent settings with hours and days. We were trying to set-up policies based on hours but the system sometimes allowed it and other times required to be set by days.

Summary: Overall, it is a good program, and once you are used to it, you will love it. You can have your payroll done in no time.

Positive: If you make a mistake you can go back and fix it no problem. Very easy to setup your information and do your payroll with ease.

Negative: I had to figure out how to use the program first before I could add in the information.

Summary: Sage HR's biggest selling point lies in its customizable features (opt-in or out). If you're looking to move away from spreadsheets and handle all people operations in one place, SageHR is the right tool.

Positive: Can opt-in or out of certain features, to make the HRIS as well-rounded as you need it to be (& adjust pricing).
Responsive, efficient, and friendly team.
Easy to import data on your own.

Negative: The timesheets features is on the more complex side to set up, especially in an international environment. Definitely needed the help of the team here.

Summary: It is great.
This allows me to actually track our business and is a far cry from our antiquated system we used.

Positive: It is easy to use.
Now I can track all transactions.
We have been using a paper/pencil method and now we can do it all using sage.
verification of checks and balances are at our fingertips, no waiting for bank statements and tracking accounts is so much faster.
This makes us more efficient and accuracy is key to our reports to shareholders.

Negative: So far I have not found any. I have only been using it less than a week.

Summary: Easy to use, and integrates seamlessly with Sage Accounting. Reporting for CRA is at your fingertips.

This has been a great time saver versus dealing with an accountant.

The employee access to get their information online if desired saves any questions coming back to the payroll admin for historical data and/or lost stubs.

Positive: Simple basic time entry. Just enter the hours per week for each category and you are done.

The reports for source deduction submissions to the CRA are very easy to use.

The integration with Sage Accounting is a big time saver. Everything is automatically posted for you!

So many YouTube videos to help you get everything rolling and answer any questions you have.

The online chat support is a great feature.

Negative: Each employee must have a minimum scheduled hours per week in order to save their hourly rate. Not ideal when you have a casual/part-time labour pool.

The feeds into Sage Accounting are several steps and not intuitive. There are YouTube videos to explain all this, but I feel it should be a more compact solution.

Cheque formatting is limited. You are forced to print the cheque number on the cheque.

No formatting option to use a basic cheque for payroll. Deduction section won't format to the cheque stub. You need specific payroll cheques if you want use the stub. Not a big deal. I just use the stub for my accounting a print a summary sheet for the employee.

Unable to update the email address associated with an employee after initial setup.

With the add-on pricing for modules (ie Timesheets) it feels like I am being nickle-and-dimed on cost IF you want add-on features.

Summary: I've been very pleased with Sage HR. We were doing paper time-off requests previously and kept in a notebook. This is WONDERFUL in comparison!

Positive: The ease of seeing a calendar with all employee's time-off in one spot. It makes scheduling so much easier.

Negative: It can be a bit cumbersome to figure all the details out to start, but worth it.
