Summary: Overall, Zoom helps in organizing interactive meetings. It has all the features required for a productive meeting.

Positive: - Zoom's user interface is by far the best and most organized in a way that all the features are just one away.
- The free version allows 40 minutes of uninterrupted meeting with all the core features, that is enough for most of the users.
- The meetings are easy to record by the host or the authorized participant.
- It has a lot of fun and interactive backgrounds available within the software.

Negative: - There is no dedicated timer for the recording time.
- Privacy and user data security is a big concern while using Zoom.

Summary: Whether you want to gather a small group of people or a large group of people, Zoom feels almost necessary in this day and age. Without Zoom, some of the problems we would encounter are how to easily contact customers and team members. We like the ability to send links and talk to them quickly. It also seems to have a better participation rate for customers who may not be willing to provide a phone number but want to chat. Having this feature is very useful, and it seems that because many other people are already using it, even if we have other solutions, Zoom is almost considered the preferred platform for calling/chat.

Positive: It is easy to integrate with your organization's existing workflow. I’ve integrated it with Google Calendar and our company’s Slack channel, which really speeds up the time it takes me to book meetings. They are also updated weekly to provide excellent new features to help your organization work remotely. It's even easier. It allows us to easily do what we originally wanted to do. With screen sharing, remote access and other functions, collaboration becomes easy.

Negative: If it is an organizational account, the administrator can impose many restrictions on what you can and cannot perform with your Zoom account. Sometimes, when using multiple monitors, the window can be a bit strange

Summary: Amazing software that is very necessary in the modern age. Even with just being spread out, it allows people on our board to meet across distances that normally wouldn't be simple. And while phone calls can happen, seeing people's face is a wonderful return to some form of normalcy. Zoom helps facilitate that.

Positive: Running a small business and a nonprofit is difficult in ordinary times, and exceptionally difficult in a pandemic. Zoom has allowed me to coordinate with people and continue meetings as though nothing has changed over the last year and a half from logistics point of view. Working with passionate people who want to stay safe is allowed to bridge those two competing objectives and zoom makes that possible.

Negative: I wish there were more free options for NPO size. It doesn't make sense for us to pay for an account when we meet every other month, but we do not fall under the maximum size of a free account

Summary: Right now, Zoom is the gold standard for online video conferencing. All other platforms are trying to compete with Zoom.

Positive: We have always enjoyed using Zoom even before remote working became so prevalent. It is a solid remote meeting and webinar tool that continues to get better and better as time goes on.

Negative: Honestly, we cannot think of any thing negative about this service.

Summary: Zoom is easy to use and is simple interface to allow anyone to join a Zoom call. It makes the issue of in-person meetings disappear. Many basic features are easy to use and easily controlled to make the program work seamlessly for its intended use.

Positive: Zoom is super simple to use from the presenter point of view AND from the user's point of view. The ease of logging in makes it ideal for our clients who do not have a Zoom account or have little experience with Zoom, it is still easy to use. From an Admin point of view, setting up meetings and reviewing meetings are easy to do!

Negative: There are some limitations on how to share a screen. I want to be able to share multiple documents and still see everything on the guests' screens. You have to choose between a power point or looking at the audience if you are a viewer.

Summary: It’s a great platform to use and super easy to use! I think it’s definitely better than alternatives such as FaceTime or Skype.

Positive: Zoom is very convenient and easy to use.
Allows to host meetings without having to physically travel.
Was amazing during quarantine to socialize with friends, family, and coworkers.

Negative: At first there were issues with people intruding on meetings, that has mostly gone away with passwords.

Summary: Very user friendly and intuitive. It is a bit pricey for individuals or organizations that only host one meeting a month. I wish there was a plan that allowed for that vs 15 for unlimited.

Positive: I love the ability to record meetings, to share all or a portion of the screen, to change presenter, to have the chat window. I love being also to rename call in parties. I like being able to set up reoccurring events with the same login credentials.

Negative: It is annoying to have to do either waiting room or passcode. I know it is for security but some folks have a difficult time pulling up the passcode if they are calling in from a phone and can't see the invite while dialing in.

I also wish there were settings for hybrid meetings (some attendees on zoom and some in a physical room). We have had lots of issues with audio in these cases. If we could control the volume of call ins, or other controls, it might help. I realize the problems are user error, but any help from zoom would be good.

Summary: My overall experience has been amazing! I never really had to use it until the pandemic and I was able to figure it out very easily!

Positive: So easy to use, great way to have meetings, kid friendly, and great asset to my direct sales business.

Negative: The chat area could be set us a little differently for easier access.

Summary: I love this software and the features it offers. It is very useful for meetings, interviews, questions, etc.

Positive: I love the easy of use with this software. This software makes it very simple to video chat for meetings.

Negative: There are no cons. Everything is very simple and basic to use.

Summary: I use Zoom on a regular base since I work from home and I enjoy it a lot. My team and I have a better way to communicate now that we use Zoom

Positive: How easy it was to connect to a conference call and the quality of the video and sounds. Great for people working from home.

Negative: So someone less fortunate to know about video conferencing the connection could be a little more complicated.

Summary: Like everyone else since March of 2020, I have attended many Zoom meetings. I never even knew Zoom was an option before then. I am very happy with Zoom and the virtual experience it provides.

Positive: It is very easy to set up a Zoom meeting via the website. I like the tools it has to offer, such as the moderator being able to automatically mute people. I like that the moderator has the option of needing to allow people into the meeting. I really like the screen share option. It has made PTO and Board of Education meetings much easier to attend. You can be at home getting what needs done there and still be in the meeting. I also like the virtual background option.

Negative: I wish the free option allowed for meetings longer than 40 minutes.

Summary: Zoom is the industry standard for a reason: it works. It's great. Sound and video quality are always spot on (as long as connection is strong), screens are easy to navigate and the interface is intuitive. The paid accounts are a good value for what you get. I heart Zoom!

Positive: So easy to set up meetings, not confusing with time zones at all, multiple options for sending out invitations and/or adding events to your own calendar. An absolute breeze to work with.

Negative: Things got a little more restrictive for free accounts after the pandemic started but nothing that's too difficult to wok around thus far.

Summary: This is without a doubt an essential tool now, and with how many people have begun to use it it is clear that this will continue to be used outside of the pandemic.

Positive: Had to start using it during the pandemic. Instantly became a household name. Allows many users to connect, and the room admin tools and security keep getting better over time...they have to!

Negative: The raise hand feature has gotten worse over time. The blue hand was the easiest to spot, now people get missed all the time. Bring back the smurf hands!

Summary: I love Zoom - especially in this day and time. Zoom has truly been a life saver in business meetings where we needed to see each other in order to move forward with projects. Zoom has also been wonderful for family and friends to be able to see each other. I am very grateful for Zoom for both business and family meetings.

Positive: Zoom has truly been a life saver for this day and time. It is easy to install and easy to use. The install is easy and the instructions are easy to understand. I have used Zoom for business and I have used it for social gatherings when we could not meet in person. Zoom truly has made it easy for both business and family in all kinds of situations.

Negative: I really cannot think of cons - other than when another person in the meeting uploads a background. Sometimes the backgrounds can be very distracting so in meetings I am a part of, I usually ask those joining me to not use a background. Other than that, Zoom is great.

Summary: Zoom carried us through the pandemic and made it possible to still get work done. It syncs easily with my calendar and is a helpful solution.

Positive: So much smoother than other video chat options out there. I sigh when I get an invite on another platform (Teams, etc).

Negative: Can get expensive for a big team -- would love to see them implement a nonprofit discount.
