    Beware serious scam site

    Summary: I wanted to convert 1 pdf document and used this service. It was online and asked only that i upload the document, then asked for my email address in order to download the conversion. Turns out you'll be asked to pay 95 cents (once only payment for limited use).
    Worked fine - converted to .jpeg and downloaded.
    Just after 2 weeks later i was billed for €49.95 "Subscription fee".
    I had also used PDF Guru to do the same, also the same online format and also costing 95 cents for limited use. This time i was billed for €39.95 again for subscription.
    On their site it's explained that you can log into your account and from there cancel any automatic payments...
    I can't do this as i don't have an account to log into.

    On line there was no single warning that you were about to sign up for any membership or subscription service.
    Therefore i can only assume that this is purely an illegal Scam.
    I am now in contact with visa to register a dispute claim against this company.
    Mail complaints to the service desk are automatically answered and don't appear to offer any resolution.

    run by the same people and are apparently just SCAM sites that are trying to defraud you for services you haven't been made aware of or been informed about

    Their feedback, as you can see by all the complaints here on Trustpilot, is an automatically generated text. From what i can see everyone receives the same answer. I recommend that you contact your bank, credit card or PayPal and make a complaint by them and ask for a dispute procedure regarding any further attempts at monthly billing. I suggest that you also make a complaint to google as this is clearly a Scam site.

    Positive: Nothing they only want to steal your money.
    They sell the product by offering it as free to use but with limited functionality. Then you find out you'll need to pay 95 cents (that's how they get your credit card number or PayPal account enabling them to set up recurring monthly billing). you'll be asked to give your email address to download your document and hidden is your agreement for subscription and to make an account.
    Then you're trapped. Complain immediately to your bank, start a dispute procedure immediately.

    Negative: That they will steal as much money from you as they can, you will be unable to cancel or stop them without the help of your bank, credit card company or PayPal. These are professional criminals.

    Summary: Horrible. I will be advising everyone I know NOT to try this as it’s like throwing money into the trash.

    Positive: Nothing. It didn’t work at all. I tried to use it and it would not convert anything into a pdf. Waste of time and money

    Negative: Everything. I tried the $1.99 week trial and could not get it to work at all. I requested it be cancelled as it was useless and 7 days later I got charged $49.99 regardless. I requested a refund as soon as I got the notification that they had charged my account and got a message back refusing and instead offering me a lifetime membership. Absurd!!!! I didn’t even get any use out of the week trial, and now I’ve been charged for a month that I won’t get to use cause it DOESN’T WORK!

    Summary: I needed to convert a document. I usually use free tools but they came recommended. Bad recommendation. I selected 1 time use for $1, which $1.36 CAD was charged to my Mastercard. Out of no where, no communication at all, my card was charged $67.45 CAD. When I went to their website they had my account signed up for a subscription. I haven't used them since that one time and don't intend to use them again so why would I need a subscription? It is unauthorized. I've filed a dispute with my credit card company as from other reviews on here, I probably won't get my money back from them willingly.

    They are not transparent about their services and come across fraudulent.

    Be careful.

    Summary: Searched for a free converter for one time use. This site came up and i paid £1 to use. They never emailed to say it is a subscription and that i had used a trial and they would now charge £50 monthly for a service i don't need. The one time use was useless. Overcharging on subscriptions, Don't ever put your card numbers in. I was charged $50 saying monthly subscription. Now although i have paid $50, my subscription status says cancelled. So they scammed me of $51 for 7 days and 1 document that was not usable. They will not refund and they state they sent email before charging and to check my spam. Nothing....no messages at all. They have offered me a discount on a lifetime plan! Shame on these people.

    Positive: None. Falsely advertised and fraudulent company. Customer service is appalling and unhelpful. Application was useless and eventually the one document i needed ever was not usable.

    Summary: Overcharging on subscriptions, Don't ever put your card numbers in. I was charged $0.99 on 04/09. I got a email telling your subscription is cancelled on 11/09 but still got charged $50 saying monthly subscription. Now although i have paid $50, my subscription status says cancelled. So they scammed me of $51 for 7 days. Shame on these people. Still they don't have the answer to the question why I received a email saying my subscription was cancelled and then charge me?? They don't have answers for me anymore.

    Positive: No pros at all, scamming people. Taking advantage of people's innocence and scamming them. Emails us saying the subscription is cancelled and then still charges you.

    Summary: Disappointed. I was really surprised when I saw the deduction. I cancelled the subscription before the end of it and I received the cancellation confirmation yet, customer care told me that the cancellation was not processed.

    Positive: I wish I had read these reviews before subscription. Same story, I was charged before the end of my seven days subscription that I already paid for as well. I contacted customer care, the responses were too fast so I new that this is a common problem.
