Summary: Very Misleading Company, I signed up for $1.99 full access for a week so I thought, until 7 days later I was charged $49.99US.

It does say that on the website that I missed, it also says on the website within 30 days you can Cancel anytime with, a money-back guarantee, when I tried to get a refund, there was a battle.

it says in its terms and conditions that there must be a technical error or problem to get your money back,

it wasn't until I told them I had over a million hits on my Google reviews that I suddenly got a refund.

please be careful with this site and do your research, they are not doing anything illegal but choosing their words very cleverly.

Positive: Easy to use, great product, can do every convert.

Summary: Here’s what really happened: I understand that the subscription was automatically renewed after the trial period, but my intention was to make a one-time purchase, not to subscribe to a recurring plan. At no point did your website clearly indicate that I was enrolling in a trial that would result in future charges. The product was advertised specifically for single-use editing, not for a subscription service. I expect a full refund for this misleading transaction.

Positive: They merged two pdf pages for me and charged me 49 euros for it. I'm not sure if it's a pro..........

Negative: This site is engaging in deceptive practices, taking £49.99 from my account after an unannounced automatic renewal following a so-called 7-day trial. It’s outrageous to mislead customers like this‼️‼️‼️ I demand an immediate refund from your team!

Summary: Terrible - charged £49.99 for on top of what I though was a one-off 7-day service. Description is ambiguous - 30 day money-back guarantee is an outright lie and cut and paste responses come back when you complain to their 'support' email. SCAMMERS!!!!!!

Positive: Absolutely nothing to recommend with these scammers. Their conversion software might work, but their charges are a scam.

Negative: You think you are paying a one-off £1.99 for a week's access and then get charged £49.99 / month. Their 30 day money-back guarantee is an outright lie.

Positive: NONE, this software company uses trickery to sign you up to monthly subscriptions. you think you are buying a one off.

Negative: Nowhere did I commit to a monthly subscription of $49.00

Summary: Poor. Don’t use or you will scammed for 50£.

Positive: Scam you for so much money without prior information. When subscribing there is no policy information.

Negative: Scammers and con artists. Stay away from them.

Summary: Awful. The worst thing is the time you waste complaining to them. They do eventually admit that they should have taken your money, but the you have to go through the same time consuming process next month. It's a nightmare.

Positive: The software works OK and does reduce the size of a typical pdf more than Adobe Acrobat Compression.

Negative: It is a total scam - they just take money from you account for no reason. You agree to pay £1.99 for a single pdf compression and the next thing you know you have £49.99 taken from your account every month. So you complain and they admit they are in the wrong, but the next month it starts all over again. Stay well clear!

Summary: Make sure you won't get trapped! PDF Guru's website is misleading and the quality of the tool isn't worth a penny.

Positive: They make you believe you are using a free tool, until you want to download your PDF. So, at first, I didn't have a completely bad experience.

Negative: The quality of the PDF was very poor, even not worth that 99 cents. I went back to Google and found a completely free alternative that offered a more intuitive experience, with a much better result. Therefore, I forgot I spent 0,99 for PDF Guru until they charged me $49,99.

I contacted the helpdesk. They told me: "Be kindly informed that after the purchase of the Trial Period, we send the billing letter with the information about the further charges." That is not true: I didn't receive anything in my mailbox or spam box. Still, I didn't have a choice but to pay the subscription.

Summary: THIS IS A SCAM DO NOT CLICK ON ANYTHING TO DO WITH THIS COMPANY. AS MENTIONED ABOVE THIS COMPANY IS A SHAM THEY WILL STALL AND DELAY REIMBURSING YOU FOR SOFTWARE YOU NEVER WANTED IN THE FIRST PLACE.

Positive: None. I did not want this software, it popped up when trying to save a form downloaded from the net, requested me to log in via facebook and then automatically took payment. I didn't want or need this software and they are just coming up with BS reasons to not refund me. Stay away from this company.

Negative: THIS IS A SCAM. THEY TOOK SUBSCRIPTION PAYMENT WITHOUT AUTHORITY AND REFUSE TO REFUND. THEY WILL STRING YOU ALONG TELLING YOU THAT THEY CANNOT LOCATE YOUR TRANSACTION AND ASK REPEATEDLY (20 EMAILS AND COUNTING) FOR THE SAME INFORMATION. THIS IS DEFINITELY A SCAM COMPANY.

Negative: Disgusting.

Summary: Scam, bad intention with hidden information to make us pay more for the service / subscription; but the client support worked pretty well as the lady was very quick on answering.

Positive: Zero pros, nothing to add here as the service did not work at all. The support was great and fast tho. The lady U exchanged email were giving me quick answers even tho an agreement was difficult.

Negative: Bad bad bad bad.
I requested one single service for 0,99 cents, for one doc conversion. They debited me. 7 days later I got debited 49 euros for a month subscription which i never agreed to. When I saw the debit, I send them an email, the lady said it was written in the screen, I said no, I was paying for one service. She said that I probably received an email before these 7 days "trial", ( explaining again that I did not subscribe for a trial, but for a single service of 0 99cents); I checked my email and no, never received any any email with the information. It's A TOTAL SCAM; the lady said the subscription through the site is non refundable, I never asked for a subscription. So, they debited 0 99 plus 49e euros from me. Avoid, scam. And my document did not work the way I wanted either.

Summary: I signed up for a 7 day window to try the product. I was unaware that if, after trying the product, you would be signed up to a subscription and your credit card would be duly charged. I contacted the company and was told politely that they would not reverse the charge on my credit card because their "terms and conditions" state that you must advise them you wish to cancel. This is a old scam and a lesson learned by an old senior. They did say that they have cancelled my subscription but not reimbursed the $70.00 subscription fee. Now not trusting this company at all I am in the process of cancelling my credit card and getting a new number.

Positive: I have nothing positive to say about this company other than they did reply by email to my request for a refund.

Negative: This company is set up to con you. If you sign up to try it and fail to advise them within a 10 day period they will debit your credit card for a full subscription which I never authorized. It is a total scam....watch out.

Positive: The form was easy to find and use. The company is a SCAM.

Negative: They offered a free trial, a monthly membership, or a one time use fee of 1.99. I chose the one time use fee. I paid the$1.99. A week later I was charged $49.99. When I inquired about the fee they said I didn't cancel my subscription. I didn't take the fee trial or the monthly subscription. I now have to go through my bank for fraud charges. It could have been a great service. It's a shame they are dishonest. BEWARE! IT'S A SCAM.

Summary: Fortunately, my bank blocked the charges & I was contacted by the fraud department. Appropriate name. Frauds. Do not use this site!

Helpful Hint: Some PDFs (like state & federal tax forms) are fillable once you download the blank version to your desktop.

Positive: I don't feel there are no pros to this site. It is a scam. Find another option for editing your PDFs.

Negative: You are led to believe this is a limited free service until you have finished your document. In order to save and download the PDF you must pay 99cents. it is NOT CLEAR this is a trial (if it's stated at all - I don't remember). Then, a week later they will charge you $49.99. PDF Guru attempted TWO consecutive charges totalling just under $100.00. I didn't receive any emails saying it was a trial, there would be additional charges, not at the time of purchase or at the 7 day time of the attempted charges. There is no clear info stated on their website, no info in their welcome email. There is only a 'no refunds' statement in their money back policies.

Summary: Awful, they promised to stop taking payments but continued after I cancelled my subscription. They won't refund my money. When you call customer service you have to go through 5 sets of questions before you get a person. They lied to me throughout the whole issue.

Positive: The software did convert my PDF to a JPEG as requested. That is the only positive thing I can say about the experience.

Negative: I paid $1.99 to convert a single word file to a JPEG. Then I started getting monthly charges of $49.99 and was told they would cancel the subscription and refund one of three monthly charges. I checked my bank account today and they had taken $49.99 again! I am working with my bank to block any further charges and also to get my $150.00 back. DO NOT USE THIS SITE!!

Summary: Definitely a scam! Tricks you with thinking you are being charged a ONE time fee of just 99 cents then charges 49.99 for a subscription. Do not use pdf guru if you do not want to be out of money you didn't plan on spending for a horrible experience. Downloaded this service on 7/11 and emailed pdf guru on 7/18 to cancel once I noticed I was realized this was not a one time 99 cent fee. They charged me 49.99 and refused to issue a refund. I was trying to convert a document regarding funeral services I attended and was out of town during the so called trial period. I contacted them immediately when I discovered this was a subscription and not a one time purchase.

Positive: The 99 cent charge was appealing until I discovered that was misleading. I should have known something was not right when my bank suspended my card and I had to confirm I made this purchase. They flagged the activity as fraud and it definitely was.

Negative: Besides the rip of for 49.99 the actual service is a waste of time. I could not successfully convert my document and had to use another app.
