Summary: If I have anywhere to report this scam company I would, I was not the only one scammed by this company.

Positive: Couldn’t save the file after spending 2 hours editing the PDF. Wasted money and time, nothing good at all!

Negative: Paid for the trial and they automatically subscribe their monthly membership which was $49 per month without notification, all you get was a junk email saying that they will start taking your money after the trial period. They refused to give refund as their website has all the policy to back them up. They meant to scam your money that way, if you don’t check carefully you end up paying $49 per month for this crap service.

Summary: Do not trust.

Positive: Absolutely do not trust them. They refuse to refund me after I only purchased the $0.99 option. They trick you into charging you $49.99 and say you should read the fine print. I hate scammers. I would like my refund!!!

I used it as a one off paying 99p and even at that it was terrible.

Scam website that doesn't tell you they are going to charge you £49.99 a month when you use a one off 99p feature.

I used this to make a 99p pdf which was a rip off at that for the software.

I just logged into my banking app to see I'm being charged £49.99 a month to use this. At no point did I sign up for a monthly subscription as who in their right mind would pay that for this.

That's 600 a year.

Absolutely shocking.

At no point did I agree to these terms.

At no point did I create an account with password so you can't even log in to cancel.

I'm contacting my bank to get the money back.

Negative: Never ever provide card details to this company as you will automatically become a member even if you use it as a one off.
Not only is the service ridiculously priced at USD 50 per month however they will also not notify you when your card is being charged.
When I picked up the charge within a day they also refused to refund my money.
I highly recommend never using this company.

Negative: I strongly advise against using this service. They operate on an abusive subscription model. I canceled my subscription after paying the initial 1 euro, but they still debited 50 euros from my account without authorization. When I reached out for a refund, they refused to return my money, hiding behind their so-called "policy."

Yo can tell this by visiting any reputable review site and seeing how many people have the same complaint about their business practice and yet they continue.

Negative: Had a terrible experience with PDF Guru. They charged my account $499.99 without my consent, and I never even subscribed to their service. This is completely unacceptable and feels like a deliberate scam.

When I reached out to their support team, I received no meaningful response or resolution. After doing some research, I found countless complaints online from others who experienced similar unauthorized charges. This pattern shows a serious issue with their business practices.

Some time ago, having to convert 1 single file into PDF, I paid about 1 Euro (and I never used it again) and perhaps I didn't read some contracts as they were in English and I was in a hurry.
I only noticed today that you charged me 49.99 euros per month on PayPal as it is a "monthly subscription", which I cancel immediately with an email.

Negative: Read carefully!!!! the because one single use is a subscription with 49,99 euro for month until you canceled it.

Negative: Scam PDF guru is a scam, they lured me in with $2.5 and wants to charge me $72. Moreover they have locked me out of the app so that I can’t log in to.

Their company in one month. But they refused.

Positive: This company is a scam and they will fraudulently charge you numerous time. I had to get an attorney and close my bank account.

Negative: They are scammers and swindlers. They opened multiple accounts under my email address when I asked to close the account, and then refused to refund me.

Summary: I only discovered the fraud on October 31, 2024, as I hadn’t been regularly reviewing my bank statements.

Unfortunately, PDF Guru appears to be engaging in fraudulent practices, as reported by numerous individuals on various review websites. I, too, have fallen victim to their unauthorized billing.
On 1 August 2024 I completed a one-time payment online for $1.52 to PDF Guru to convert a file from pdf to Word.
On the following dates, they charged me recurring fees for a “subscription” I never authorized, as follows:

07 Aug 2024: $76.77
06 September 2024: $73.99
06 October 2024: $72.54
31 October 2024: $76.51

Since then, I have reported PDF Guru to the Australian Federal Police, the Commonwealth Bank of Australia, and the Cyber Crime Authority in Australia, with the hope of recovering the funds that were unlawfully debited from my credit card account.

Summary: Avoid because their main focus isn’t on the service and customers that want to use but rather on how to scan people with their free trial nonsense that doesn’t work anyway

Avoid like the plague.

Negative: Just when automatic subscription takes $50 for one month for the service you have never ended up using as the produced document a year ago was not good enough and you beg the customer care to refund your hard earned money as you’re single mother and pregnant and they just say no because of a refund policy.
