Excellent Collaboration Tool Edited: Jan 08 2021
Summary: During the pandemic, there has been an increased need to coordinate a group of users working at different times and in different locations. This product has helped us to improve communication and collaboration during this critical time.
Positive: This program has simplified collaboration for my team by combining the features of several programs that we used previously. It also seamlessly integrates existing software that we had been using previously such as SharePoint. I like the way team members can work together on a collaborative document while using video chat or instant messaging.
Negative: At times it can be difficult to keep up with the high volume of new messages and notifications when a member of many teams and channels.

When I started to use it, it was easy, impressive, the assimilation was really easy, if you ask me about a problem that I am dealing with groups today, in fact I need to complain is the need to contact your colleagues this pandemic circumstance.

I like this app Date: Dec 09 2020
Summary: I rather enjoyed using it. It was easy and intuitive. Instant messaging and virtual meetings have been meshed together pretty well in this package.
Positive: Easy and intuitive to use, can do a lot with it, good mobile integration. Gotta be careful, though, as it can become a meme war zone pretty easily.
Negative: Without good policies and policing in place, it can become more of a distraction than a useful tool.

Seamless video conferencing experience Date: Dec 06 2020
Summary: Overall the software is quite good with all the useful features that you could think of and a quite helping customer support if you face any problem (that is highly unlikely).
Positive: The best thing about Microsoft Teams is that the seamless experience you get from your computer to your smartphone.
You get ton of useful features like screen sharing, recording, live transcript and a quite good customer support.
The smooth user interface and regular updates are cherry on top.Negative: They really have to work on the pricing of this software considering some competition are providing same features for less money but you get the security assurance of Microsoft so thats okay.

Team building in your best communicative performance Date: Dec 05 2020
Summary: Great for group interaction when everyone is remote. As many of my businesses operate in another location, this allows us to maintain contacts as well as get everything resolved as a group. This is noticeable in the whole distance issue, as we even have team video calls twice a week to ensure that we can rework work-related issues and also go beyond several others.
Positive: Using this program allows you to pin down detailed conversations so that they are much easier to find and consult when talking to a person or a specific team about a detail problem. I also appreciate that you can send Gifs in team conversations to keep the conversation fun.
Negative: When you accidentally keep a message, you are unable to effectively, or at least clearly, remove it from your conversation list. This simply confuses your conversation list and also makes it much more complex to organize your conversations to find who you are choosing.

Access to powerful features for a small team Date: Dec 04 2020
Summary: Super powerful tool for keeping teams organized, managing privacy settings, and easy to setup for a team that is not super tech savvy.
Positive: Access to Microsoft's cloud storage via Teams, Sharepoint and one Drive has changed our teams ability to work remotely . Made the transition to cloud file management and file sharing super easy. We get access to powerful tools through a license we already pay for and use everyday. Way better than buying separate licenses for similar services.
Negative: Migration of Legacy files to Teams (and therefore teams, one drive etc.) was more complicated than the interface seems. It skipped many files when we did a large batch transfer. Eventually we discovered the Sharepoint migration tool that handled file migration with out missing files in the transfer.

Ultimately, an item that I can offer productivity in my activities Date: Dec 01 2020
Summary: We know that with several of our consumers making use of the product, it provides a more peaceful partnership experience, in addition to currently providing it as a component of our service and also specialized solutions. The charm of Microsoft Teams, as well as several other Office365 programs, is the ease of availability also from a tool obtained. All I need is my login information, as well as I can access Microsoft 365 and Teams at any time.
Positive: Microsoft Teams, as well as for the company, have been one of Microsoft's success stories. Pair this with desktop computer sharing and also the ability to remotely connect to multiple desktop computers from other individuals, depending on the company's plans, it has been a joy to use Teams during the pandemic period and is currently our first selection of tools.
Negative: When developing chats and meetings with several other users and customers. It would certainly be appropriate to have the ability to decide whether you want future conferences to combine directly into a conversation to allow for an ongoing sequence or to keep them as solitary entities.

All-in-one tool, nice interface for group video calls Date: Nov 16 2020
Summary: Overall the tool has many great features for teams to work together and stay in touch whether through video or chat, as well as file-sharing. Other tools like Zoom and Slack have nicer interfaces and are easier to use, but Teams is beneficial for a company looking to implement an all-in-one solution.
Positive: The biggest benefit to Teams is that everything is in one place - chat, video, file-sharing, and more. The video feature has a leg-up to Zoom in that it allows large groups to see more people by rotating who is shown. Many companies also prefer Teams because it is higher security than a platform like Zoom.
Negative: Video tool lacks some features that Zoom has, such as polling. The screen share function is less seamless as Zoom. Note that the web version of Teams video is very different interface than the application. The chat function isn't nearly as nice and interface or functionality as Slack, but again, the benefit is that Teams puts everything in one place which can be convenient.

Need some more security upgrades Date: Nov 07 2020
Summary: Overall other than the missing of the Log feature I don't think there is any issue. Is cross platforms is seamless. But the Log feature should be the must. If that feature gets introduced then I don't think then there is any other better solution to meeting and conference's than this.
Positive: Great UI, is secure, manages everything from time-tables to notifications, everything is just great. Having all my classes and meeting since 8 to 9 months and using it pretty well daily.
Negative: The main cons with this is that it does not have any log feature. This is the only feature that is missing because sometime students mute the teachers and its is very irritating to find who it was. Or if someone kicks somebody out no one knows who it was. Even Microsoft does not have any log about that. So they should add a log feature that only the Admin of that team can see.

Decent but sometimes slow Date: Oct 26 2020
Summary: It's a decent program, but may not be for everyone. Recording wasn't as bad as in Collaborate Ultra or Zoom, both of which frequently disconnected us all no matter our internet speed or location, but for basic communication, Band was easier for staff and students. Many of the staff who weren't very used to using programs outside of email, spreadsheets, and Word, struggled but I think most would pick up how to navigate it just fine. Being able to edit PowerPoint together and store things in our Notebook were really useful. Recorded one-on-one tutoring sessions were really useful to students and staff, both for accountability and for students to review further in their free time. I'd recommend giving it a try, though I personally prefer Slack over Teams myself.
Positive: There's a lot of app integration for Teams. One Note ended up being really useful for compiling everything my classes covered in our live sessions. Video recording was great for students to look back on our extra tutoring sessions between classes. I love that I can hide the area behind myself. I prefer the privacy, and many of our students, shy about possibly revealing their home environment just for class, also loved this feature. Setting up sessions with students was easy.
Negative: While I myself didn't have issues, some of our students struggled to get their accounts set up and tech support had to be called. They were all able to et access eventually. If a student didn't have a strong connection, live sessions were often interrupted and they had to reconnect. Many of our students live in a mountainous, rural area, so this was a recurring problem. A strong connection and fast internet is definitely a must to get the max out of this. Android app settings and preferences are also organized differently than PC versions, which made for some confusion among our staff about how to set up notifications. It wasn't an issue for me, but there may be a steeper learner curve for those who aren't too tech savvy.
