Summary: I would recommend APS to everyone. It is very easy to learn and use, so training new employees is a breeze.
Positive: APS is easy to learn and use. I have used many payroll systems in the past, and APS is by far the best. Our employees love the self-serve feature.
Negative: APS does not integrate with our ERP system.

Summary: Overall, APS has been awesome. Knowing that I can reach out if i have a question is super helpful. Being able to post my job openings, and go through the entire hiring process with the click of a mouse frees up my time and allows me to work on other projects. Highly recommend APS!
Positive: APS is has a user friendly portal, if you ever have a question, their customer service team gets back to you quickly. Having all my HRIS needs in one place makes APS well worth it. The time APS takes in training to make sure you are comfortable running your payroll is amazing. The app is also very user friendly.
Negative: Didn't really get an introduction to the app and the features. But it was easy to figure out.

Summary: We have used APS Payroll for a few years now. The system is not perfect, but it has been great for us. Any time we have questions there is always someone to help. The training is great. As we grow it grows with us.
Positive: Easy to use. It connects time off well. It is easy to look and see what you need to see for each employee. It is a great system for our church as we grow in staff.
Negative: I really do not have any. My finance team loves it. Their has become so smooth.

Summary: We have found a true partner in APS. Our previous provider left us to our own accord. With APS, they took the time to ensure we had a good foundation. Since go live, we have had a few minor issues, but APS was quick to respond and offer a workable solution. We are employees in 10+ states and appreciate we have found our partner to cover all of our operations.
Positive: Excellent transition process from previous provider.
Straightforward integration with our accounting software (easy to setup and make changes).
Employee Notifications emails are extremely helpful,
Dedicated support team instead of a random 800 number.Negative: Reports took the longest to master. Report builder is a little confusing at first.

Summary: My overall experience has been amazing. APS payroll is easier to use & the staff is very helpful. I don't usually have to call them but its nice to know I can if I need them.
Positive: I love APS payroll. They make my job easy. I can add & terminate employees with ease. The website is very user friendly. I also love if I have a problem that someone is here to help me out. They usually always answer the phone but on the off chance they don't - I get a call back right away. Did I say, "How much I love APS??"
Negative: I don't have any draw backs from APS payroll. They are an incredible company.

Summary: APS does have all the product you need for maintaining a small business payroll department. The reporting meets all needs. APS takes care of the Federal and State reporting and payments on our behalf. Hiring is integrated with Indeed and onboarding is seamless from job creation to start date. If you do HR inhouse the tools are there to use. I especially appreciate the email or text communication features. I use it often to communicate with employees on a one to one level.
Positive: During the years of Covid, ERC and Government reporting, the ease of pulling helpful reports has been terrific. Payroll is easy and onboarding has improved a great deal. For Ease of Use I give a 5 star review, and would recommend.
Negative: Much if not all of the training is passive, via videos and bulletins. Although an adventuresome soul would find this 100 % helpful, it does not help those employees who require one on one training as much. I often have to send the instructions or path to videos for those GM's unable to find the path through searching online. It takes some time to train, but once you have a basic understanding, the program is easy to navigate.

Summary: The entire process from beginning to running payroll on my own was seamless. From the sales people to the implementation process to the training sessions to actually running payroll, I felt supported. I was 100% set up for success. Once I was handed off to the regular support team, I have continued to get immediate help to questions that I have had. I love the fact that I can call or email and receive a response either immediately or within a couple hours.
Positive: Onboarding process.

Summary: I have enjoyed the system, and it has helped us cut down on process times and paperwork. Needs more integrations with major providers of other services like Quickbooks at no additional cost.

Summary: This is the best HR/Payroll system I have ever worked with!! Best customer service by far! It is amazing.
Positive: APS has great payroll and record keeping tools to make my life easy. Time cards work well and I can easily assign managers and move employees as needed. The reporting is very good with standard and custom options, and any time I can't build a report the way I want their customer service can help me out! Their response time is quick and they are always nice and helpful :)
Negative: There is literally nothing I don't like, if I can't figure something out their customer service helps me out!

Summary: I started out in 2019 with absolutely no experience and they made it easy and educated me along the way. They can handle every aspect and payroll and HR.
Positive: No matter your skill level, no matter the problem you are dealing with, APS has the answer and dedicated teams with diverse expertise to handle our every need.
Negative: I honestly don’t have anything I do not like, the only minor thing I can think of is the new updates available that pop up, then again it’s an update so it’s helpful. Doesn’t happen a lot but when you are working and it pops up it’s a few clicks to get it to go away or wait and refresh.

Summary: I describe my review as Paying it Forward because APS Payroll has given me back so much time to do other tasks that it's like they are paying me. I can then spend more time on the tasks I need to work on to assist others.
Positive: Very user friendly. Videos available for each module for refreshers if needed. Amazing customer support, although I find the tool so easy to use that we seldom need customer support. I love not having to worry about W-2's, W-3's, and tax reporting. The report builder really is just that-- I can build out any type of report and information I want to capture. Setup is easy. Timecards are easy.
Negative: There really isn't anything that I don't like about this tool. I tried to think of something that could help APS improve, but there isn't anything.

Summary: My overall experience is positive, and I would be happy to recommend APS to anyone who is looking to make a change.
I think, like anything, there are positives and negatives, but in my experience with APS, there are far more positives than negatives.Positive: I like how accessible APS is as a company. If we have a question or concern, or just need clarification on something, we can usually get an answer quickly. And when given an answer, they do a good job of communicating the reasoning behind it. I would recommend APS.
Negative: Sometimes the website feels a little hard to navigate.
