The comments on that article are pretty interesting, most of them supporting the professor are along the lines of "These students absolutely are unprofessional! Who expects to keep their job after calling their boss a fucking moron?!"

They seem to miss the point that as a management class, these students expect to BE the boss, and they expect that there will be no repercussions when they tell their employee that they're a fucking moron.

Furthermore, now that these people will pass and become managers, I wouldn't be surprised if one of these people texts an employee telling them he is firing her because she wouldn't sleep with him, then when he loses his lawsuit and his money he'll go around telling everyone how an ugly bitch ruined his life.

I just bought the USB-Serial adapter. Native serial ports on laptops are gone and they're not coming back. I know most of those adapters are total crap (so many fail when transferring block data at even just 57600), but chipset manufacturers don't even include serial port lines on the southbridge anymore.

3 ports means I can plug in a Keyboard, Mouse, and have one port for a USB Thumb Drive, Serial Adapter, Ethernet Adapter, DRM Dongle for whatever I'm actually doing with the laptop. If USB keyboards reliably came with USB hubs built in I could reduce that count, but you can never be sure what the site will have when you get there. Most USB keyboards aren't well equipped. In a pinch you can obviously use the keyboard on the laptop itself, but it's not as comfortable and most places have random USB keyboards sitting around.

The spelling of that chemical alone will prevent its success.

If 'xylitol' is hard for English speakers, it should be doubly so in Finland. We did extensive clinical research on its use against dental caries in the 1970s, and now everyone and, well, not their dog, has been using it in forms like chewing gum for a couple of decades.

However, we are notoriously bad at pronouncing foreign words. For instance, initial 'str' in words like 'strategy' ('strategia' in Finnish) is often reduced to just 'r', at least when spoken by older people with less foreign exposure. This just reflects the lack of such combinations in our native language.
