Should be obvious. Anything less than physical coercion is legit. Even lying, attempted bribery, the works... It's up to the rest of us to learn to say no, turn our backs, and walk away.. Any parent or teacher who doesn't teach that is negligent.
Besides. you're drifting from the main point of the JE. Maybe the link did, too. Yours is more of an issue of consistency and bias. And your excuse of being slow on the pickup will never fly with me. Calling the republicans 'progressive' only verifies you really haven't 'learned' anything. But hey, every day is Tuesday
Well, yes, and apparently, telling them to fuck off is uncouth. Who'da thunk... I guess everybody out there is saying, "Just give 'em the money" Somehow that is more "civilized".
Ahhh.. sweet Tuesday. You are the last flower in the desert...
Considering the hysteria of the last decade and counting, I find the attitude refreshing. A lot of people need to fuck off, starting at the top.
Heh, you're right!
*sigh* I hope Slackware will make a mobile OS some day.
You shouldn't have been modded down. Fear mongering has become very big business in our Post 9/11 World

Were not publishers and creators the same folks when copyright started?
No, before the printing press there were writers guilds. It was they who wanted copyright to protect their business model from some chump with a press. Even though they were merely transcribers, they would claim or demand all rights to a work.
Is there treatment for that? Or is the rubber room the only option?
No, the article says that conservatives are corrupt, authoritarian fascists, and that liberals are drug taking, fuck-anything-that-moves, dirty hippies
