Plato was a big thinker but he suffered from "left-brain poisoning" which leads to over abstraction, including racism, classism, political parties, communism, and other mental disorders. "Plutonic Ideals" were supposed to be a though experiment originally.

Aristotle did major work to fix Plato's fuzzy-headed thinking.

Has someone written a feature to make this better and it's being ignored?

Or is this a matter of insisting someone else do something?

TBH it sounds like we need a standard for pre-rendered blurb and thumbs.

Extended OpenGraph for thumbs? Or does that exist?

Social media is moving to distributed no matter who dislikes that idea, so make it as efficient as possible, yes, but don't bitch about reality.

It did not.

Back in the early days of our nation, when shit happened (foreign invasion, indian attack, wolf pack, etc.) the call went out in the community, and the people showed up with their weapons and together they handled the problem.
That was the militia: the able-bodied men of the community with their personal firearms.

As this was deemed necessary to survival (A well regulated Militia being necessary to the security of a free State), the government was forbidden to prohibit their ownership of these weapons (the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed).

In modern times, the need for this has changed. Maybe the laws should change too. But as it stands, the law is clear.

Finding unexpected problems is just part of testing, both software and hardware. Russia kept tuning existing Soyuz design and got prices and down and reliability up. US capitalism is addicted to throw-out-and-start-over because investors don't get excited by incremental improvements; they pay for buzz.

It would have been cheaper to send 2 time-tested Apollo missions to have a crew of 5 than reinventing one big Orion. And 2nd would be an emergency backup: crowded but survivable.

Some troll(s) posted bunches of fake videos showing windmills exploding under heavy wind, killing horses etc. The gullible fall for it because it fits their preconceived notions.

* Okay, maybe he has point there, but that's ALL he actually cares about because it affects him him and him.
