Summary: Procare is a quality child care management system for keeping track of a ton of child and family information. It takes quite some time to learn all what Procare can do for your program.
Positive: The online MyProcare Parent Portal is a great way for parents to add and update their children's weekly schedules. And it's super nice that they can pay their bills through the portal as well.
Negative: Tuition Express frequently fails to post payments to random accounts when a parent pays online. This is a HUGE headache because you must go into the accounts and manually enter the payments and then generate a deposit report.

Summary: My husband and I have been using Procare to run our daycare business for over twenty years. After selling the business during Covid, the new owners were using a different product. When I agreed to return and run the business for them, we switched back to Procare from another daycare management software. I feel that when it comes to managing the data and creating the necessary reports no other program is as good.
Positive: The customer support is amazing. Whenever I have a question or am unable to make a report, someone from the Procare team is right there to assist me. The reports are outstanding and make it so easy to manage the day-to-day operations. From sign in sheets to attendance logs. emergency information, all of it can be sorted and reported with ease.
Negative: I do feel as though the parent interface could be made stronger. The parent access to billing and customer statements could be easier as well. Many parents wish they had the capabilities of setting their payment dates.

Summary: It is a great experience with the ease to use. But the repair part can be hard to coordinate the technician of Procare and the local electrician. It will be better if the Procare can send someone directly from Procare team for the repair.
Positive: The daily update platform is my favorite part. Also, I love the sign in/out by GPS. It is easy to send group messages when it comes to urgent announcement.
Negative: When it comes to repairs, especially involving hardware and software, it is hectic to coordinate the repair.

Summary: it has been a great addition to our preschool. overall happy with all of the features and I know along the way it will just get better and better.
Positive: I like the communication feature, photos, billing and staff info. It's nice that everything is easily kept in one spot. wish that it had a budgeting side for supplies.
Negative: I wis that the photos and comments had a like feature. that way parents and teachers can confirm message received with out having to respond.

Procare for Daycare Date: Oct 04 2024
Summary: This is a great software option for large or small scale programs with many options. We like the attendance tracking and the Tuition Express options even though we ceased to use those now.
Positive: We like the attendance and billing for account management options with the free basic package, we do not have a subscription. We have had great experiences with customer service.
Negative: We have tried the Tuition Express, Family Engagement and iCloud package too. We will try that at a later time when we grow as a program or transition to all day childcare too.

Summary: Procare has been a great tool for all of our teaching staff and admin teams. Our parents loved the increased communication with the introduction of the app
Positive: Procare has helped us manage and grow our child care business for over 20 years. We use Procare daily. It also helps us our billing and to communicate with families. Our families often say great things about the app. The attendance reports are very helpful when filing for our child care subsidy award
Negative: The reporting could be much more flexible. The reports to choose from are good but could be better if they could be modified. Customer service phone queue is horrible.

Overall enjoy Procare Date: Oct 04 2024
Summary: Overall we really enjoy Procare. We had another system previously and while it was nice on the parent side, the management side of things it was horrible. Procare offers a good product for both parent engagement and management.
Positive: I enjoy the ease and support Procare provides. For the first time we were able to have all of our systems under one umbrella, making our day-to-day management easier. Having everything in Procare has made that easier. We enjoy the parent connection and having an easy way to communicate. The support team is outstanding! Whenever we have an issue, they have a resource to help guide us.
Negative: I wish that some of the upcoming features were available sooner. There are a few areas that I think could be improved and with these updates they will, just waiting for those to happen. Also, the reports section is lacking a little. I would like to be able to create a report and have it in a convenient to print format, which it is not.

Summary: Overall Procare is a very reliable platform. I would like to see some updates and shorter wait times when asking for assistance.
Positive: Notifications, messaging, pictures, ability to text. You also can send alerts to family. Billing is good.
Negative: Customer service. I am noticing newer products have advanced features that I would like to see implemented on Procare. One example is a daily bus roster.

Summary: While we have experienced some bumps in the road that does not have an immediate fix, their customer service is quick to help you through the problem.
Overall, we are happy with our choice with Procare over the other platforms we considered.Positive: Invoicing and payments have become greatly improved. Student tracking and ratios are vital to our school.
We use the Staff timecard which has made payroll super convenient.Negative: Cannot message teachers individually.

Summary: It's a great program for organizing student data. I also wish there was a way to customize a registration for that families could enter their information directly into Procare as they register for various programs.
Positive: Being able to house all student data in one space is helpful. Messaging systems are also beneficial for program/home communication.
Negative: Student data is not easily searched when they are classified as inactive. We have students who enter and exit various programs across the Museum. Because some inactive students are sometimes missed, we end up with duplicates. We are not able to delete or merge the duplicate entries.

Summary: I like Procare. I think it has everything I need as a center director but would love some upgrades in functionality and a more stream-lined approach.
Positive: Procare encompasses most all of the facets of childcare into one program. From record keeping, attendance, staff schedules, immunizations... it is all there.
Negative: The system can feel a little clunky, as in when you're entering info. It is not easy to change dates, numbers and there are always error messages. It has not been upgraded since I started using it eight years ago, and this can take me a very long time when entering children's info.

LOVE Procare Date: Oct 01 2024
Summary: Overall, I LOVE Procare. Although we are a new child care center with limited funds, Procare is a priority!
Positive: Procare Solutions makes parent sign in/out a breeze and allows us to easily print reports that help with completing payroll and subsidy reimbursement. Procare Desktop has functions to help calculate private and subsidy billing quickly.
Negative: We switched from the online only version to the desktop version, which took several Zoom call trainings to learn how to use all the functions of the desktop version. However, once we got the hang of the desktop version, it has a lot of functions that help make my work as a director more efficient. On the flip side, there are functions that can only be done on the desktop version, which means I have to have my laptop available. For example, if a parent asks what their balance is, I am unable to view it on my cell/online and have to wait until I am able to get back to my office to give them that info. Prior to switching to the desktop version, I could easily look that info up online.

Summary: Overall it's be great. Happy we went with it and I would recommend to others. We did consider other options but in the end chose this!
Positive: We like the touchless, paperless sign in and sign out. I also find the Lead component really useful in tracking my waitlist. I also appreciate Procare is always upgrading and adding new features.
Negative: Sometimes there are glitches. I also wish you could send photos right in a message.
