Summary: Overall, I LOVE Procare. Although we are a new child care center with limited funds, Procare is a priority!

Positive: Procare Solutions makes parent sign in/out a breeze and allows us to easily print reports that help with completing payroll and subsidy reimbursement. Procare Desktop has functions to help calculate private and subsidy billing quickly.

Negative: We switched from the online only version to the desktop version, which took several Zoom call trainings to learn how to use all the functions of the desktop version. However, once we got the hang of the desktop version, it has a lot of functions that help make my work as a director more efficient. On the flip side, there are functions that can only be done on the desktop version, which means I have to have my laptop available. For example, if a parent asks what their balance is, I am unable to view it on my cell/online and have to wait until I am able to get back to my office to give them that info. Prior to switching to the desktop version, I could easily look that info up online.

Summary: Overall it's be great. Happy we went with it and I would recommend to others. We did consider other options but in the end chose this!

Positive: We like the touchless, paperless sign in and sign out. I also find the Lead component really useful in tracking my waitlist. I also appreciate Procare is always upgrading and adding new features.

Negative: Sometimes there are glitches. I also wish you could send photos right in a message.

Summary: Does the job, but could use some work. For example there is not spot to put where the parents job is.

Positive: Message app to parents. It is nice that we can send messages to them. And the classroom lists to quickly see who is here.

Negative: Can't edit to what your Center needs. There are things missing.

Summary: I’m disappointed that the cloud and desktop are not compatible. It’s also worth noting that families use 3 platforms to submit data. Website for registration, TE for automatic billing, and the app for classroom communication. It’s confusing for families

Positive: Procare offers great features for scheduling, billing, time clock and record keeping. The cloud platform even enables direct messaging to families, menu publishing, and newsletters.

Negative: I’m originally a desktop user. I us the accounts payable module. When we added the parent engagement app to our package we got access to the cloud platform which is very user friendly, especially for families. Well, it could be. Since we have desktop, we don’t have access to all of the cloud features and some of the data doesn’t sync.

Summary: The team and myself find using Procare Solutions very easy. I would like to get to the point where we can use the product to send forms to parents for them to complete and sign.

Positive: Procare Solutions provides a sleek easy to use app along with a dashboard site that allows for my team to learn from attendance and activity data.

Negative: I don't find the document generator very useful.

Summary: Very happy we chose Procare. It would take a lot for us to switch to a different provide even with minor glitches overall very satisfied with the product and services.

Positive: Easy to use and implement, saves a lot of time when data needs to be retrieved or reports pulled. Super easy tool to collect tuition and issue receipts.

Negative: Some features do not work well with online engage platform

Summary: Good experience. Easy to access. Very satisfied with this product. I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking for quality childcare management.

Positive: Easy Access, convenient for childcare use. We use this product daily, and the families and staff find in convenient.

Negative: Not able to access when offline. It is very frustrating when the internet goes down.

Summary: It has so many benefits for reports and record keeping. All of the modules work together for seamless information.

Positive: Procare has been our system of choice in the centers I have Directed. From Oklahoma to South Caroline. We use all the products available. Desktop - check in computer and door opener. This last year we have used Learning Beyond Paper and the Procare Parent communication app.

Negative: The fees for credit card processing through Tuition Express would be the thing that keeps it from being the perfect childcare software. But 4 stars is still really great.

Summary: This is a great software for childcare centers. it is nice to have almost everything sync from the desktop program to the engagement app. It is user friendly and usually easy for the parents to use.

Positive: Most info is synced across all platforms. Most parents have an easy time utilizing the engagement app. It keeps up with any information that you want. You can add in different tracking items to personalize to your center.

Negative: Not all of the info syncs across platforms. There are some items we have to add into the engagement app from the desktop.

Summary: It's a comparable daycare app, wish it was one price for everything and not added pricing for things. it's very user friendly and parents love the messaging.

Positive: I find the attendance tracking wonderful when having to pull for DSS reports and the ease of sending out bills with just a few clicks

Negative: Not having access to all the components of the app without paying extra and having to pay a processing fee for parents to use credit cards.

Summary: Overall we have enjoyed the wide array of reporting available and the dedicated support. Even with recent issues mentioned, the Procare team is a great partner and dedicated to making our experience the best it can be.

Positive: Procare offers a few different platforms that meets the needs of various companies. The platform I have experience in is School Care Works and Procare Desktop. Both options are very user friendly and allow the user to customize pieces to reflect the need of their business.

Negative: We have had difficulty with recent support requests. Questions are answered quickly but unfortunately, there have been several responses where the support rep did not seem to understand the system or how their end user uses the different features.

Summary: Procare is a great communication tool to use in your childcare setting. It is easy to track which children in you center and employees. You are easily able to keep your rooms in compliance with ratio numbers. What I really like is everything is right in your hands, you have all these records, contact numbers, billing information making things easy for you. My staff and I really like the messaging feature. They are able to get answers to their questions fast and share information. We like using Procare.

Positive: I really like the whole communication aspect of Procare. We are able to share information to parents as it's happening and then can in return reciprocate. I love that we don't have to do the old paper communication, and it saves so much time doing it electronically.

Negative: I have found using automatic billing feature that if a child is missing a sign in or sign out time that the system doesn't bill anything but most of all there is not error report or message that indicate that happened. We have found a lot of time wasn't billed and had to go back and figure that out.

Summary: Procare covers all the required licensing requirements for documenting and tracking. I like the majority of the features, just wish for a few changes. I think our team uses most of the features but could do better with implementing and utilizing more.

Positive: I like all the options that are available on the Procare Desktop application. I think that being able to customize so much and pull so many different reports has been very useful.

Negative: I wish that Procare Online had the ability to print whole "files" for a child, which included the child's daily activities, messages and other options since enrollment. Often times we need to pull all those for different issues/incidents that come up, and it typically involves a lot of time and screenshots.

Summary: Overall, I do enjoy this product and love when they come out with advancements to make it even better. I think the app itself is so efficient, however, I do think that the website could be a bit more streamlined.

Positive: Procare really does have many features available to teachers and administration to help provide strong communication between school and home. Adding in meals, bottles, nap, etc. are so simple and take mere seconds. The teachers are so busy so having that is so important to the management of their day.

Negative: The app is great but on the admin side who login to the website there is a lot of clicking to get to particular information. For example, I would love to click on the child's picture and have access to not only their profile information but also to their daily report. Also, it would be so simple in I can click on the child's picture on the main screen to quickly log them in/out. There are a lot of great features but sometimes it is just so cumbersome to get to them all. Would love to cut down on the clicking and have it more streamlined.

Summary: Procare is great! They could improve on simplifying billing and including more record forms for admin use.

Positive: User friendly, ability to communicate with families, easy for staff to use, good customer service and response time.

Negative: Billing is complicated, have to do extra steps sometimes. Also, would like more records for admin use.
