Me, I got pissed off with performance laptops years ago, they just basically cook themselves to death. I bought two computers, well, technically three, a full featured desktop with tons of screen real estate, an old laptop that is still kicking and a smart phone and run three OSs. Desktop, windows (actually dual boot with Kubuntu), basically because of course a big part of it's function is gaming, Linux on the laptop, not much power need for work, really honestly not much power at all and Android on the smart phone.

So the better investment is a high powered desktop which is still pretty cheap and will do anything you want it to do computer wise and the cheap ass notebook because accidents on the move do happen, they happen a lot. That total will often be less than a high powered notebook which is still less capable than the desktop on it's own. Operating system.

Now you can either just burn money on advertising like M$ do, emptily B$ about features that disappear or make greatly exaggerated claims about their products or you can really be pretty cunning and sneaky, invest in high risk tech research that the worlds press will report on and get tons and tons of free advertising and have a chance of a big payout for that tech research (just leaving a 'positive impression about your company and products').

At a guess their investment in tech research is generating something like about like between $3 to $5 of free advertising for each dollar invested in research and depending upon the announcement cycle and interest it is up to $10 and maybe as high as $100 on occasions. LIKE RIGHT FUCKING NOW

So losing the internet 'browser, search, portal' war, no problem, fake it via the operating system. Of course when the fake claims about customer eyeballs reflects in very bad advertising outcomes, the customers will then just avoid M$ because it simply doesn't work, regardless of the internet hit numbers, at least as far as M$ is concerned. So base fine would be based upon the minimum wage, can not pay that and you will spend some time in lock up to make up the difference ie do the time or pay the fine.

P.S. it is really, really, completely and utterly stupid to associate fines with revenue, the fine is meant to represent the harm caused and to ensure the person will feel the impact of that fine as a measure of the harm that they are trying to prevent. Failure in this regard just corrupts the whole system, just like the pretty blatantly corrupt US injustice system.

Likelyhood of the US ever adopting this, 0, zero, nil, never, impossible, no fucking way. In fact they would be far more likely to swap to a system fine or time, where for all crimes you either do the time or pay the fine, after all it's all about revenue and has nothing at all to do with lives, well not poor people's lives. So a rich person murders a poor person. Perhaps not in those words but certainly you want to find out who was the individually responsible for the request and front them directly. Being diplomatic is often more about saying neither yes nor nor but maintaining communications in order to delay undesirable outcomes whilst tensions difuse and the need for the undesirable outcomes evaporates. In this case blatant toddler behaviour, where the child is lashing out making demands as a result of global frustration from failures in other regions, really just needs to be ignored or a public meeting where Russian and US government representatives can discus the issues directly in a location within Vietnam and the Vietnam government will chair the meeting.

You are looking at more digitised board gaming , easy to learn, short play times and high re-playability, more interactive and more visual, taking into account the outputs on the individual tablet, rather than the big screen.
