Journal Rick Schumann's Journal: 'Biden Derangement Syndrome': It's a Real Thing.. and it's hurting America 16

Get over it, Trump voters: Biden won the election. There was no voter fraud. Trump LOST. Accept it and move on. We're in the middle of a gods-be-damned pandemic and you people are insisting on dragging this process out? Seriously?
For once in his gods-be-damned life, Donald Trump needs to have some class and some grace and accept that IT IS OVER. For fuck's sake, his own family is telling him to just accept the loss and move on! Instead of doing what's right for the country, like a President is supposed to do, he's kicking and screaming like a spoiled 2-year-old who was told he's not getting the toy he wanted. It's damaging the country, it's hurting the American people, ALL American people, not just those who didn't vote for the son-of-a-bitch, and it has to STOP, NOW.

You people, your GOP 'legislators', you're all TOXIC. You're poisoning the entire country with this bullshit.
You hate China? You hate Russia? Guess what; you keep this shit up, they LAUGH and LAUGH and LAUGH even more at you, at *us*, because you're helping play right into their hands: sowing more and more chaos and division. For FUCK'S SAKE you may as well start learning to speak Mandarian and read Russian in Cyrillic, that's where this is heading.

  • 1. Trump lost the popular vote in 2016 and barely won the states that gave him the presidency. He won Michigan by less than 12,000.

    2. Biden not only won the popular vote in 2020, but he also flipped what looks like FIVE states plus the Nebraska district. That large a conspiracy would have someone talk.

    3. Fake Ballots are such a hard crime to actually do and get away with - as the QAnon conspiracy idiots found out when they tried to deliver fake ballots to Pennsylvania.

    4. But blocking valid ballots as

      Questions about #3...

Have you ever looked into the 1960 presidential election in Cook County, Illinois?
Chicago is located in Cook County and the original Mayor Daley was mayor at the time.

Before making Universal Statements, maybe you want to look at the history of voter fraud in the USA presidential elections. IMHO
      • Don't know if this even warrants a response, but don't you think, in the last 60 years, maybe they've come up with more security for mail in ballots, such that it would be a LOT harder nowadays to get away with anything that was done back in 1960?
      • The fact that 60 years ago crimes were committed does not mean they can be done today. Yes, I know about Mayor Daley - and so does the FBI, the FEC, the lawyers hired by the GOP, and even you.

The reason it is hard to do fake ballots is because of the decades of experience we have with them.

Some modern ballots have water marks, bar codes, etc. Modern poll counters have poll watchers from both parties and and independents. Not to mention reporters and honest judges.

In Detroit, we were supposed to let i

      • One more thing - I left out the numbers.
Mayor elections are local politics which are EASIER to do corruption. Daley was elected with less than 709,000 votes, all in one city that his party ruled. Biden got over 77,000,000 votes. Spread out over 50 states, not one city, in a country that his OPPONENT ruled and in states where his OPPONENT'S political party controlled.

Thank you for picking an example that so clearly proved you wrong.

  • For once in his gods-be-damned life, Donald Trump needs to have some class and some grace and accept that IT IS OVER.

The problem with this is that one, he's a narcissist, he literally cannot think in a way that does not revolve around himself. Secondly, even a person that is not a narcissist might fight to the bitter end because he's likely facing significant prison-time.

From my understanding, the QAnon people are so invested that believing they lost means facing the reality that they have been conned/living in a fantasy world. This is a crisis of faith for them and without a way to explain away what has happened they a

    • I understand and agree with everything you've said.
It's just that I perceive we're at a critical juncture; winter is coming, we're already seeing the leading edge of another wave of the damned pandemic ('Pandamnedic'? I think I just invented a word), and regardless of January 21st being as far away as it is, Biden could be doing something to help with that -- assuming that the outgoiung Adminstration and Congress would be willing to stop being obstructionist. But they are being obstructionist. Furthermore,
      • It's not Congress that is the issue, it's Mitch McConnell and his "might makes right" perspective. He exploits the law for his own benefit and he seems to be able to get his fellow senators to follow suit. Current indicators point to things only getting worse before it gets better. Things should change in the next 10 years when the lion's share of the boomers kick the bucket and much of the current leadership retires or dies in office.

        • Yeah, McConnell is a weasel of the worst kind. He needs to leave also. I was hoping he wouldn't get re-elected.
          • What really kills me is the idiots that think Democrats stole the election yet somehow didn't bother to kick out McConnell or even ensure the majority in Senate. I mean, they are on the same ballot!

I'm disappointed in Kentucky for re-electing McConnell again but I think it was half, "I can't vote for a Democrat" and half, "I can't vote for a woman" that ensured his victory. Kentucky really needs to get it's shit together.

            • Since when has rational thought ever entered into the mindset of the average Trump supporter, really? Yes, there's some 'educated' people who did. But there's even more who don't really seem very smart. Also never discount the 'stick it to the libtarts' mindset. It seems to blind them to everything else. Besides, everyone on both sides is so focused on POTUS, and how many people really think about how much power the Senate Majority Leader actually has? Emphasis on 'majority'. I think things will be differen

My understanding is that a huge portion (if not the largest portion) are goal oriented, so the ends justify the means (which is antithetical to their reason for doing so but I digress). However, there is a very loud contingent of ignorant and willfully ignorant that are merely selfish, think they are somehow going to benefit, and/or merely want others to "lose" if they cannot "win". Finally, there are there are a huge number of people that simply have a Pavlovian fear response to the mention of Democrats

                • Yeah I see quite a bit of things like 'crab mentality', and the sort of selfish corruption that says, as you say, 'if I can't have $THING, then nobody else can have $THING either *destroys $THING*'.
..and, yes, I think there is a contingent of (I'm sorry to say) not-so-bright people out there, getting all their news from one single source (like Faux News), who are convinced that 'leftists' are going to force their way into their homes, take their guns, and convince their (grand)sons and (grand)daughters tha
      • What's even more scary is how his offspring are positioning themselves for future political endeavours.

        • If they're as clueless as Donald Trump is then they won't get anywhere.
I honestly hope that the GOP has learned it's lesson and will fix their shit so they have a real candidate next time and not just someone they mistakenly think they can just use as a figurehead, which is what I think they privately thought about Trump; I think they thought he would be 'controllable'. Boy were they ever wrong!
          • Quoth CNN [cnn.com],

His adult sons Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump are encouraging him to continue waging battle, arguing his supporters want to see him keeping up the pressure and that he has little to lose. But others, including their sister Ivanka, have sent a more calibrated message, asking whether it was worth damaging his legacy and potentially his businesses to continue his refusal to concede.

The sons are trying to milk him for all he's worth before he descends into scandal, ruin, and prison.
