Yeah, I read the front page story and perused the website. Very interesting. If nothing else, it seems like we've got ourselves a fairly technically literate administration for once.

The text itself if accurate, however the application of it is not. There is no indentured servitude, as much as Naqamel / RailGunner / Pudge want you to believe. They are again stretching the words beyond what was said to fit their own agenda of hatred and smear.

The only value in discussing the Fairness Doctrine that I can see is drawing attention away from other policy (e.g. bailouts) that The Most Ethical Congress in History wishes to remain obscure.
For every bit of value they'd gain in enacting such steaming legislation, they'd galvanize the opposition twice as much. Why?

Those damned bailouts are a particularly sore spot with me. besides the concept of doing away with welfare for the poor with the 1996 "reform" act and instead giving welfare to the rich, they're bailing out the industry that's ruined the economy.

My mortgage payment tripled. I'm broke all the time now. That's money the computer parts place doesn't get (my main PC's still busted), money the grocer doesn't get, money the liquor stores and bars don't get, because the God damned banker gets it instead.
