There are.
Negev, death valley, Center of Sahara or Gobi, Atacama.

Just because at the edges is some life, does not mean in the middle is.
And: if you have a 100 million square miles desert: you certainly do not need an environmental study if you want to cover one promille of it with solar panels. Facepalm!

Sorry, that is just nonsense ...
Switzerland is like it ever was.

The questions about having money in Switzerland are bilateral agreements.

E.g. Germany wants to tax interests yielded i foreign countries. So Switzerland agreed to sent information about that to Germany. Otherwise the banks are just the same as before.

The WHO never "put the word out" that COVID is not air borne.
At the beginning of COVID they had a statement like: "so far there is no evidence that COVID is airborne"

That is a fucking big difference, stupid idiot.

And the rest of your rant: "airborne" is not a scientific term. So obviously they use "infectious respiratory particles" that "spread through the air".

How damn stupid can one be?

That is because an ordinary Chinese is is not affected by politics anymore.
They all have:
* education
* healthcare
* shelter
* clothing
* food

And perhaps 50% are running their own capitalistic business.

They can travel visa free, or close to visa free, around ASEAN and can travel everywhere on the world without asking for permission first (like it was in the 1990s).

I guess the average Chinese is way better off than the average US American. But then comes something like COVID and you see how much half of the bureaucracy tries to cover it up, and the other half stamps out one hospital after the other in a 14day rhythm.

The problem in China is the ingrained trait (asian genetic trait?) to abuse power. Kick the underlings and cover up towards the higher ones and keep smiling.

Question is, where does the bug manifest.
Could be as simple as a web interface limiting a field to two digits, and cutting off the lead digits if the user types more.
But could be as arsine as someone made some code like "if age greater than 100, subtract 100" ... have seen bollocks like this enough.

Russia has recruited hundreds of thousands of contract soldiers. Huge numbers of people willingly signing contracts to wage war against their neighbor for cash.
I guess your numbers are a bit off.
And what exactly has recruiting poor males for cash into a war to do with "war support" by the population?
Nothing of course. Half of them are criminals sitting on prison. The others are homeless, jobless, poor men with no girlfriend and no chance to get one. Especially after the sky rocking prices for everything in Russia.

They think a bit war is a tourist tour with free sex (as in rape) and an occasional plunder of a washing machine.

Seems you Americans are far out of the loop how anti war the Russian population is. The simplest things are either not available or have 4 times the price than 2 years ago.
