Summary: Overall, it's a good system. It's fairly easy to use once you have a basic understanding of how to navigate through all of the different features. The response time for customer inquiries is pretty quick, and the CSR's truly are some of the best.
Positive: I enjoy the ease of having everything in one centralized place, from payroll to performance management, timekeeping to reports, it's essentially a "one stop shop" for everything I need to perform the daily functions of my job.
Negative: Some of the features aren't as user-friendly as others. The price point is a bit steep as well in comparison to other platforms I've looked into.

Summary: Overall, I like it and would recommend it to other users. The product is not perfect; it has its flaws and complexity, but it gets the job done.
Positive: The product is highly dynamic and customizable. Our team and I have utilized it to deliver payroll and HCM-related services to our clients. I particularly appreciate its GL functions and the capability to automatically transmit data to QBO software.
Negative: However, there have been product updates that resulted in disruptions and issues with the software. Additionally, the product is not very user-friendly for general users.

Positive: Far more HR and timekeeping functionality than our previous software, and much easier for clients to use.
Negative: Sometimes the very frequent updates create small issues and glitches.

Summary: I believe Isolved has an excellent message/goal on what they are trying to achieve in HR management. There are a lot of different options available to be successful with the human capital management system.
Positive: We like that for the most part it is user friendly and allows the client to be independent. The overall solution to common questions can be answered with the features.
Negative: I am the tax manager for our company. I feel that the Isolved tax service needs to be updated and more features need to be made available to ASO users. They are promoting an Isolved Tax Service that Isolved handles but that will not work for our company. The tax service while it is user friendly in some cases there are other features that can be better. For example: POA packages should be able to show more than one contact. Service bureau reports are lacking, and we are waiting for the system report builder to be up and running.

Summary: Of the few time systems I have worked with, iSolved Time is by far the easiest in terms of programming. I also feel the level of support and the response we receive is very good.
Positive: The ease of use of the system. It is very user-friendly. The features that are currently in the system are nice and looking forward to all new time items that are yet to come.
Negative: Some of the releases of new items or updates to the system do not always go smoothly and have caused major issues with our clients not being able to access the system or certain parts of the system. It also seems like if there is something that has an issue on a release it is usually the Time system that takes the hit.

Summary: Overall, I like the reporting and the ease of adding/terminating employees. I dislike the fees and charges.
Positive: I like the reports offered by isolved. They have a variety of supporting reports that especially help when we are going through an audit, which occurs 3 times a year and include 401k, quality, worker's comp.
Negative: I have a difficult time finding someone to help me with specific issues and to get them to resolve them accurately and quickly.

I also think isolved nickels and dimes us, such as charging a $5.00 fee when a direct deposit is incorrect.
I think it's ridiculous that when we don't have any changes during our benefits enrollment that we are charged a hefty amount. We don't need any changes whatsoever yet are charged a large fee.isolved Company Response -

Summary: isolved always makes updates and listens to feedbacks from its users. It is user friendly and customizable to your clients.
Positive: Plenty of options to search menu, user friendly, and innovative! The site itself is very organized.
Negative: When using the employee search, you cannot press enter on your keyboard and have to be very specific with what you type - I would like to see updates on this page.

Summary: isolved has a lot of features but also takes a lot of time to learn these features. Depending on your client base, this may or may not be the platform for you.
Positive: isolved has the most features for those intense payrolls out of all platforms. There is a function for everything.
Negative: isolved requires lots of training and lots of experience.

Summary: Overall, isolved has been a wonderful platform that is able to adapt to a companies changing needs. The employee experience is easy and employees are able to do everything they need on their mobile phones.
Positive: With isolved being a true single database, employee information is more accurate and takes less time to enter in as there is one record. The system also provides the full hire to retire and continues to evolve with the changing market.
Negative: I think the time & attendance portion of the system could be built out further to accommodate more shift differential complications, but for basic shift differentials and regular timekeeping, it works great!

Summary: Having been in the payroll/HRIS industry for almost 20 years, with experience in various leading large and small HCM platforms, isolved does remain a competitive solution. Regardless of the areas for improvement, one can tell that isolved takes the general needs of their end users into account.
Positive: From the end-user perspective: Easy to use & intuitive; able to manage simple to some complex payroll needs; offers ATS, LMS, GL, and a slew of other integration options; clean mobile ESS UI; constant releases to stay up to date on, or ahead of, industry standards.
From the setup/admin user perspective: Individual client conversions are rather easy; recently updated reference materials and courses in isolved's knowledge base are helpful; contacts we partner with at isolved are helpful and friendly.Negative: Would love to see...better reporting options at both the individual client/end-user and system admin levels (report building that can merge multiple tables, or create percentage-based outputs using overall totals in report not just individual line detail), competitive upgrades to older modules, as well as core HCM dashboards that can be customized by employer, or even groups of end-users.

Best Payroll Software I've Used Date: Aug 11 2023
Summary: Overall this is a very good product and I would definitely recommend it to payroll departments who are struggling with the software they currently use.
Positive: In 20+ years working in payroll and using several platforms, this is by far the best one. It is one system and one database, so everything from onboarding to timekeeping to processing payrolls runs very smoothly.
Negative: Sometimes support is a bit slow. Especially if you need to request a custom report. However, the report writer is pretty strong, so that's not something we need often and the support is still better than I've experience with other payroll/HR platforms.

Summary: I was with iSolved, switched to ADP, and went right back to iSolved. I thought a big company like ADP would be what we needed and would have a super program, but they had horrible customer service when I needed it most. I like that I can email or call one person, or a team, and get my answers within a day.
The payroll process is rather simple, and it's great that the time cards link right in. There is no confusion or too many steps.Positive: Good customer service, quick to respond.
Lots of reports for several data needs.
