Summary: I will definitely use PromoTix again and would highly recommend. They offer better pricing and no direct competition.

Positive: This was my first time creating a ticketed fitness event. It could not have been easier! The site walked me through the set up and marketing tools. In my search for a tool to promote my event, I liked that they don't directly advertise competing events directly to my customers.

Negative: I have yet to experience anything negative. I had a little difficulty getting back to the marketing section after the initial setup, but not a big deal.

Summary: I'm a web developer, I do a lot of e-commerce solutions and I've worked on bespoke ticket applications for 20 odd years now. Usually, if I'm building a solution for a client I will be knee deep in API's, database clients and source code and a highly polished product will emerge a few weeks later.

In my downtime I'm also in a band playing in a bar on New Year's Eve. The venue needed to sell tickets to control entry - its a small popular place and you can't allow just anyone in on NYE - but because they are short staffed and under resourced - they just don't have the time or knowledge to setup a website, setup a ticketing system, integrate it with a payment solution and link that to a bank account. When the landlord told me he had no idea where or how to start selling tickets so he would probably have to pull the gig, I ordered a beer, fired up the iPhone and within 15 minutes was able to show him the event on sale and taking bookings.

That simple.

Positive: - Ease of setup - I went from logging in to being on sale in 15 mins
- Intuitive features - whatever you need, seems they've pretty much thought of it
- Flexibility - I'm in the UK - sometimes using a US based product can lead to compromises which can put off UK users. I was able to switch the default mobile prefix to '+44'

Negative: - Overall UI design is a bit cumbersome and old fashioned
- Would like to be able to customise look and feel a bit more - how about CSS

Summary: The overall experience is great. Easy to post listing , no hassle, it was easy for me to post my events , and the whole platform is a big help in our company in promoting our local events that are targeting nearby residences to participate.

Summary: My experience was easy. It was my first time using it and I found it easy to use and affordable. I liked the fact that it did not take a whole lot to get set up and there was support.

Positive: This was easy to put on a Facebook events page. This was free to open and start. It is easy to use.

Negative: The back end fees were the only con but even those were not really that high.

Summary: Easy experience and for less money than other solutions. Much simpler to coordinate than physical tickets with fewer risks of scams, counting errors, money going missing with multiple sellers etc. loved the ability to make different tiers of tickets!

Positive: Super easy to setup, very friendly for the buyer as well. Makes selling tickets easy especially with different bands in different cities.

Negative: Could use more customization in the purchasing portal.

Summary: Supper satisfied. I reached out to customer service on a Saturday and received a call back right away.

Positive: Easy access and impeccable customer service. I used a similar platform before, but PromoTix is the best so far.

Negative: Not applicable. I don’t have any cons to mentioned.

Summary: Wonderful - I'll use this a lot! It was easy to create an event and I appreciated the ease of sharing the link to purchase a ticket.

Positive: This was such a great find! Easy to do and FREE! I hope it continues to be as useful as I've found it to be thus far. And free.

Negative: The minimum characters required in this review process are the only negative thing so far.

Summary: I am so excited to use PromoTix for all of my events this year! I have used other platforms in the past; and they just don't compare. When it comes to wanting all the features and capabilities that make an event a success; PromoTix will always be my first go to!

Negative: There are no cons to using PromoTix. Everything that I've wanted in a ticketing app can be found in PromoTix.

Summary: Wonderful! I recommend, this site to anyone that is looking for low cost tickets, it is very simple and straight forward.

Summary: We used PromoTix for the first time for a two-day music event. The site worked great, and when we did have a few questions come up, Sebastian at PromoTix was super-helpful and on it immediately (even having a change made on their platform to accommodate our needs!). Thanks for a great tool; we'll definitely use PromoTix again!

Negative: Really nothing...everything worked flawlessly. Only question that came up was handled (and resolved) promptly by your telephone support.

Summary: I'm new at organizing private events, and I went through two other software programs that promised ease before trying this service. I don't have time to learn a whole database system, and I just put together personal and seasonal events. This was perfect. It was so easy to figure out how to set up a ticketing system for my seasonal haunted house- a sole proprietor business that didn't require a bunch of people signing in and out. I needed simple- go in, buy a ticket, get out. PromoTix is great- I'll be using them for everything I do from now on.

Positive: The ease of the system is exactly what the company maintains. I don't have time for learning curves, and I didn't have to worry about that with the online system.

Negative: I haven't found anything I didn't like, because I was comparing against software systems that were much more complex to learn. I'm fully satisfied and haven't run into issues.

Summary: I am very pleased with PromoTix for my event hosting needs. It has all the features and support I need to publish and promote my events, and I love the competitive pricing.

Positive: PromoTix offers competitive pricing for event ticket sales, and provides a platform that you can easily customize to suit your needs. Their support team is also very responsive with any questions you may have.

Negative: Very few! I would only add a "Custom Field" to the check out form for use on niche elements an event may have.

Summary: I'm a believer in PromoTix! I love the finished product. It was easy to use and we had immediate results.

Positive: Extremely ease of use, great applications and powerful results! Definitely recommend this product to anyone who wants to promote an event.

Negative: Nothing to speak of at this point. Great options for sure.

Summary: So far, we haven't fully been able to completely use their services as we haven't made our first ticket sale using the app, but overall exceptional service!

Positive: The ability to easily create events and sell tickets immediately without a hassle makes life so much easier.

The fact that they are willing to give you the service fees they charge on top of your ticket sales is even more amazing!

Negative: They only thing I wish promotix did was offer some sort of program to incorporate the entire event budget and invoices right into the app so you know exactly how much you've made for the night.

If that's already a thing and I just haven't discovered yet, then forget what I said.

If not, then that would be an awesome feature for us promoters!

Understandably, you are a ticket sales company, but maybe bring that in the future!
