PingCadence serves as an online tool designed for gathering status updates aimed at project managers, PMO leaders, and managers in engineering or program roles. It facilitates the import of task plans from platforms such as Jira, Asana, monday.com, Trello, ClickUp, Wrike, and Microsoft Planner, while also accommodating Excel and CSV files as well as Microsoft Project XML or exports from Excel. Each task is set up for check-ins that display planned dates, which are dispatched through the manager’s Outlook or Gmail account, either for prior review or according to a predetermined schedule. Task owners can conveniently respond via a link without the need to create an account, indicating whether their tasks are on track, hard to assess, or not on track, along with any proposed revised dates. Project managers review these responses and have the option to implement date adjustments, which can then be recorded back into the supported project management tools. PingCadence maintains the baseline schedule and offers comprehensive status reporting, highlighting pending responses and suggested changes, with the ability to export reports in PDF and CSV formats.
