If I lived there and found this to be a large inconvenience, I would certainly look at getting an older second car just to avoid this stupid law. Why would a company make a locally run version of Siri only to loose out on all the extra money they could make from analyzing the "Big Data". I don't think it is as simple as saying if they could do it, they would. Stand-alone GPS units from a decade ago could hold a map of all the roads in the USA for routing you to your location. Does Google Maps have the roads locally stored or do they send your current location and target destination to their servers so they can get more data on you?

Or they could just move to a country without the freedoms that they fear so greatly!

This is about the stupidest response I have heard. How long are you going to wait while being killed or raped for the chance to get a phone to call the police and then wait some more for them to show up. If you get the chance to grab the phone, you also have the chance to grab the gun. One situation you might save your life, the other is where the police inspect your dead body for clues as to who did it. Police don't prevent crime, they chase after it when it is all over.

Yeah, us Americans had such an easy time with those simple minded desert dwellers in Iraq, didn't we. Just take a look at the combat we have been in lately and you can easily see that a bunch of guys with AR-15s can do quite a lot against the full on US military.

And in this very case the people that were first put behind bars were thought to be innocent and the police did a horrible job at actually using evidence to figure out who did it. So yeah, being innocent does not mean you won't end up in prison.

Right, in third world countries. How many die in countries with hospitals that can give simple things like fluids and antibiotics. . . almost none. That is my point. If they have to lie to you to try to get you getting the vaccine, then there must be some alternative reason besides it is just a good idea!

The premise is that they are coming to Earth to attack it. They must have a reason to attack us if they are doing it, right? Then what could that reason be? Material, food (including us), planet to live on, possibly a few others. If they would like to live on what we would consider an inhabitable planet and want nothing from us, then they would not be attacking us in the first place and you missed the whole point of the question.
