however, one thing is certain, it's only going to show that you're a cheapskate(because of using prepaid)!

also, even if you're not a cheapskate, you're not really going to have more than ten bucks loaded into your prepaid anyways likely.

so.. the whole concept of using your prepaid balance to decide which adverts to show for you seems rather dull.

and it's not really a rumor, since it's been their operating motivation since launching windows 8. of course they went it with ass backwards route, the software they _wanted_ to go into the store _couldn't_ go into the store in the first place(traditional sw).

also why do you think adobe went with a subscription model about the time of windows 8 release? it was a contingency plan and a middle finger to microsoft which was hoping to start getting 30% cuts of 1000$ softwares.

anyways, there will be an iso to download. it's the product key you care about getting anyways.

this is just so he can sell/promote PONO. I'm not sure if he believes that the hifisupadupasound of PONO is really better or if he's just a knowing shill. it's just a player that plays lossless files - nothing special there!

besides, streaming services have BETTER sound quality than RADIO and his music is played on radio all the time. streaming is also much better than cassettes.

he says it's not about the money, but sound quality blabla.. IT IS ABOUT THE FUCKING MONEY.

like, come on, if it dependent on a device that sat near the wifi AP, it was hardly anything magical-special-super-anonymizer device in the first place. all it then was, would have been an unlicensed sort-of-long distance radio data link - which would have a whole other market mind you.

if they were implying that you could connect to the wifi ap from 2.5 klicks without anything special device near the wifi ap, then they were bullshitting.

so probably they were bullshitting because their product if it functioned as would have been likely, would have had a totally different market than what they were pushing it to.

just that it worked on unlicensed spectrum wouldn't have made it illegal to produce for markets where such use would have been legal.

look, all this talk about "bad corporations do intentional obsoleting of software to sell new software" and then *bam* start asking for them to make tens of thousands of games unplayable.

nice, real nice.

yes kill date implies that you wouldn't be able to _use_ it at all after the date, which would actually work as an incentive to not update to any such version that has a kill date. kill date would also mean no further security fixes.

putting a date on it would be stupid for everyone involved. adobe can just(and pretty much has) quit developing new features for it, thus driving people to other things.

thing is there is _no_ possible way for the greeks to maintain their expenses.
