I got about halfway through the base SC2 (Terran Wings of Liberty stuffs), but then my kids got too interested in what I was doing, and it's a bit violent for young observers in my opinion... so it's been on hold for over a year. Hoping to get back to it within the year though.

Seems odd, considering governments and corporations are simply made up of people, many of which are likely to be below average. Seems like you should trust them less, weakest link in the chain and all that.

Not that I can really compare, having never used Android Studio, but while it's a little rough in a few spots, I've found Eclipse to be a usable Android dev environment.

True - I would guess the logic of committees and redesigns, wherein an original idea gets so many parts replaced it appears Dadaist.

I don't know if this is what you encountered, but it sounds like something I've seen a number of times. Systems (web sites and programs) go through a redesign, included support for the older versions, and then when they finally deprecated the earlier versions of things they forget to remove the transition related code.

Agreed on the short comment posting limit being frustrating as an infrequent visitor. Though as JTS noted, without a feedback mechanism, we're stuck with just dealing with it.

Definitely reminds me of posts I've seen on http://thedailywtf.com/, though I have to admit I have made my fair share of bad contributions due to mid task restructuring or time or ignorance, so I always keep that in mind when laughing at the terrible code I run across.

The replies and interactions are what drove my posting here back in the day. Though considering my nerdy and eccentric bent a fair bit of my facebook posts get no interaction, so why do I do it? I suppose it ties back to me not needing much validation to reinforce a behavior.

Ha, to be fair there are a few that I've followed closely enough after the /. collapse to know them more by their real name than their handle. Though whether I see MonTemplar or Alan Ralph I still think "Mon" first!

Yeah, it does look very WordPress-y. I'll have to keep an eye on it for when the JEs are enabled on it.
