drinkypoo's Journal: why do the democrats keep spamming me

They solicited me several times to go to expensive dinners I can't afford, and now they want me to buy "which mitt" mugs. Is it a plot to attempt to drive me to the republican party? It's not going to work, I'll vote third party this time no matter what.

We still need a second party. When the POTUS - who we are told is a democrat - is just as conservative as the republicans, there is only one party. Calling for a third is premature.

He isn't as conservative as the current crop of Republicans. He is more along a 1980s Republican. Both parties seem to be shifting right over the years.

This group would've labeled Reagan too liberal and Ike a damned commie!

He's a Nineties Rethug. Reagan called to raise taxes, in the '80's.

They oppose health care reform, he reformed no health care.

They oppose ending the wars, he extended the wars.

They want tax cuts for the rich, he extended tax cuts for the rich.

They oppose funding education, he provided no additional funding for education.
