Journal drinkypoo's Journal: Slashdot crashes Mobile Firefox 3

I used to think that it was Faceboot's Javascript causing mobile Firefox to crash. But now I see it's actually Slashdot's, I can not even have the faceboot tab loaded when it happens. This site is trying so hard to track all of us and sell our data that it blows up the browser.

  • I don't use mobile firefox, but the surplus javascript here has been giving me fits for months now. It seems like someone is working overtime to circumvent ad blockers, when I've already checked the "I'm a logged in user, stop showing me ads" box.

    How do we get this legit complaint in front of more eyes?

  • I can't even open finance.yahoo.com anymore in Firefox.

    I just don't get it. There's nothing special about my machine.

    I guess I'll just go back to using my broker's website.
