Journal Marxist Hacker 42's Journal: My big political influences 45
This will surprise some of you, but for others it may confirm some suspicions as to my political identity. I don't hold Marx, despite my user handle, as a political influence; he was merely an economic influence. My big political influences are a true Republican Conservative from Oregon who would never be elected in today's political correctness atmosphere and a Democratic populist from Louisianna who was shot for suggesting that the working man deserved a share of this country's wealth also. Two radical people at opposite ends of the political spectrum, but both shared concern for the common man and a willingness to sacrifice profit in return for something better.
