OK, since some idiot modded me as troll, let me re-iterate, these things do not need to be stored anywhere other than the original govt servers. Passports and Driving licenses have unique IDs, those could be non-reversably hashed and stored as proof that these have been checked for example for employment laws that require a person can lawfully to work in the country.

If you disagree then don't be a lazy fuck and mod me as troll, instead, explain why these documents need copies stored anywhere other than on the originating gov't computers. I've been asked to show a copy of ID when buying digital gift vouchers, fair enough but then the dumb arses that asked to see a copy then stored that copy online unencrypted and publicly assessable, this was easily verifiable because they linked the copy in a reply email.

I don't object to a copy being temporarily stored for the purpose of verification but that copy should only exist for the duration in which the verification is happening and that should happen quickly, ideally in under 24 hours. It should then immediately be deleted.

Can't agree with you on the copyrighted data aspect because:

1) That information is already given away freely.

2) AI doesn't break copyright law as like a human it creates new different works. Being against AI creating is some awful cry-baby thing, I can understand the likes of shutterstock not wanting AI to exist, but everyone else - what is going on in your head because the thinking is not explained.

3) Fuck copyright in it's current form, seriously it's just wrong, copyright should be temporary and should not be anywhere near a lifetime long, copyright is now theft of the commons from the public.

Personal data OTOH is a different thing and should be protected against the risk of people deliberately trying to data-mine AI data.

So correction that the backlit technologies are LCD and it's a relief that those are still being invested in because tech with burn in issues are too sucky in my book. My TV has been used extensively for about a decade and I'd hate to think how bad burn-in would be if it was OLED.

Better phone integration = more spying not less.

Constant updating regardless of whether you really need it = fomo inducing and battery killing.

Installed directly from the web = new security risk

The PWA gets an app icon on the device = So like a bookmark link then.

Once installed, the PWA can be launched as a standalone app, rather than a website in a browser = So you could lose browser functonality, like link, bookmarking, save page, copy and paste.

PWAs can be integrated into the device = more bloatware you can't remove.

PWAs can use the whole screen, rather than running in the browser UI = Eh? My browser shows full screen as default and tbh it's kind of annoying.

Yes and no, dissenting voices in comments can and will likely be buried. Confirmation bias and algorithms which show people what they want will hide opposing arguments in other videos from those that see the bad videos.

So it's better not to allow blatant lying, Youtube has that choice and I do not agree with their debate line at all, they simply want to show as many ads as possible, everything they do ids geared towards that goal including this action regardless of the negative consequences.

Ok, done some research and the underlying AI is typically the same. Reflex AI looks to be a more fuzzy logic hard-coded way of deciding whether to do a specific task where-as goal based would be looking at the bigger picture and deciding if doing the task would help it achieve it goals.

At least that's the way it looks to me.
