What's the plan?

China Badger don't give a fuck.

If the plan is to pray for China to have a change of heart then they should put their money into churches.

Otherwise adaptation.

The bonus of adaptation is it works even if the computer models have errors.

Which, of course they do.

Why, when no first world nation does the same?

At this point trillions of dollars have gone into climate related slush funds with much of it siphoned off to make some very rich people incredibly richer, with a tiny portion actually going to real efforts to help the environment.

Why shouldn't the third would be allowed to dine at the same trough? Sounds like a racist thing if I'm being honest.

Spike protein does shed - it's been measured. There are papers on NLM/NCBI. Your news sources told you that, right?

Spike is probably only a concern for breast-feeding infants, blood transfusions, and sexual relations.

There are already 'pureblood' dating apps available so the market is responding. The Japan bloodbank is moving on it too to minimize cost overruns.

You do not really access roads.
In Germany usually service trucks just drive over the land.
And depending on time of the year, what looks sometimes on photo from a drone, like a road: is full with wheat.
When the land is freshly harvested or plowed for seeding, as long as it is not muddy, a normal truck can easy over the land.
Of course there are exceptions, e.g. when the windmills are in a forest, or hilly area.

The rest of the world won't, because their own currencies are currently inflating more than the USD.

The U.S. is squarely in the middle of the list of world inflation (you can sort by tapping on column headers).

But the bigger problem is inflation ahead, which is illuminated quite well by the debt to GDP ratio map, where only a handful of countries are worse off... the interest payments for the U.S. debt are nearing exponential increase.

TBH it sounds like we need a standard for pre-rendered blurb and thumbs.

Extended OpenGraph for thumbs? Or does that exist?

Social media is moving to distributed no matter who dislikes that idea, so make it as efficient as possible, yes, but don't bitch about reality.
