Summary: Edit documents online without having to install software. There are many advantages to using this technique when all you need is a web browser.

Positive: We love how easy it is to upload all your contacts to CRM in Only Office from anywhere or anywhere on your desktop. Uploading people information and accessing your contacts is very easy. You can easily share, edit, and create contacts, and it's convenient to have all of these options in one app.

Negative: Some documents aren't able to be uploaded like Microsoft Excel which makes it difficult to do a mass upload of contacts if you are using something that isn't supported then you have to change your platform to do a mass upload.

Summary: Overall, ONLYOFFICE is a great open-source alternative to the Microsoft Office Suite, and I would recommend to anyone.

Positive: Ease of use: You install ONLYOFFICE, start a new project and everything's laid out like you were using Microsoft Office (so if you're into Office, ONLYOFFICE will be easy to understand).
Open-source: I prefer open-source software than proprietary ones, and ONLYOFFICE uses the AGPL-3.0-only, which is FSF (Free Software Foundation) approved.

Negative: On the app, if I open a document while on MIUI Dark Mode, it doesn't render the document properly.

Summary: In our company ONLYOFFICE manages all the documentation works, reports and resumes of interns. It offers us a good range tools for the projects and cloud as a storage. We have all good experience with ONLYOFFICE and it seems the best office suite for us!

Positive: ONLYOFFICE is one of the best tools on the market for office works. It manages documents data and Office's project very well. Even it is a powerful platform that has capability to work with multiple docs. It also provides online Office where your can work with document.
ONLYOFFICE has very secure cloud to manage document with all reliability and has a good support team to solve any error or problems of users.

Negative: There isn't much that I dislike about ONLYOFFICE. The only thing that I can think of is that it can be a little confusing to use at first for beginner. But once you get the hang of it, it's a really great tool!

Summary: Overall, It is a very handy and dynamic software with variety of tool for managing projects and modifying documents. It keeps documents secure as well. Additionally, It provides cloud and online office to store & edit docs.
In my organization ONLYOFFICE deals with almost all document works and projects.

Positive: ONLYOFFICE is capable to manage large document files and provides some fantastic tools to edit them. Its UI interface is very simple and beginner friendly as well. It is able to work with any format of documents and also offers features to change the doc's format such as DOCX to PDF or PDF to DOCX etc. It is a powerful platform and can handle multiple documents simultaneously, you can switch on any document at any time without any issue.

Negative: As we experienced there is no any such as big issue with ONLYOFFICE but some times it shows error while changing the format of documents. It can be solved easily and overall it is a great software.

Summary: Very smooth, very glad this piece of software has supported me on my linux journey, it has made it very easy and more fun. And it's great that the software is open source. Because if it ain't FOSS, it's a toss.

Positive: A familiar look and feel.
Snappy and polished software.
Easily converts documents from Microsoft formats to (better) alternatives.

Negative: Sometimes layout or fonts act a bit weird after conversion, but still a great piece of software.

Summary: Overall, My experience with ONLYOFFICE is a great platform, It solves our problem of multiple copies in a doc and helps to remove incorrect items. ONLYOFFICE is powerful and able to deal with all formats of documents and also provides feature to quick interchanging between the documents such as PDF, DOCX. It is an amazing solution for social projects as its implementation and utility is excellent.

Positive: ONLYOFFICE offers software to easily create and edit docs in the cloud and It has good tools for working with Office Documents and also allows us to share documents externally. Concurrent editing is also appreciated. It consists amazing project management features that are convenience & simple to use, that are suitable to managing office works with all securities. Its UI Additionally, ONLYOFFICE's interface is clever & user-friendly for beginners.

Negative: The main downside that I observed it's not fully compatible with Microsoft Office and forces to use Office online. And secondly it shows lags some times and system freeze a little, while working too long with documents.

Summary: Best alternative for MS Office. Ease of accessibility and updates are quite frequent. At the end, all in one software for documents.

Positive: Best documentation and easy to use. All in one software and no need of different types of software to edit the document. Best part of this is that it's completely free which is very good for students like us.

Negative: Doesn't support apps in mobile. Impossible to edit PDF files. Doesn't run on MacOS.

Summary: I have been using ONLYOFFICE for about a year now and overall I have been very pleased with the product. The only thing I would like to see improved is the ability to more easily view and edit files on mobile devices.

Positive: I like that ONLYOFFICE is a complete office suite that I can use to do all of my work. It includes a word processor, spreadsheet, and presentation software, as well as a calendar and email client. I also like that it is available as a desktop application and a web application, so I can use it on my computer or on the go.

Negative: There's not much that I don't like about ONLYOFFICE. It is a great platform for online collaboration. However, I would like to see more features added, such as the ability to create custom templates for documents and more robust reporting tools.

Summary: OnlyOffice is the best replacement for those who need to edit Word, PowerPoint, and Excel files with others. It renders MS formats better than any other tool out there, and since it is free to use there is no reason not to give it a try.

Positive: OnlyOffice works extremely well with MS Office documents. It has a familiar interface for an easy transition if you have used any recent version of Microsoft Office in the past 10 years. It also has a Linux client, which makes switching away from Windows easier if you still need to read and edit MS Office docs. It also is free to download and use, and all of the clients are Open Source software.

Negative: Not a complete replacement for all Office products, as it only has Word, PowerPoint, and Excel compatible editors. If you need any of the other tools, you might want to look elsewhere.

Summary: Great experience overall. Despite having some issues with presentations that isn't my daily task so it does not affect my work.

Positive: One environment window for different types of documents making easier and faster the process of delivering reports.

Negative: It has some problem with slide colors for presentations done with PowerPoint.

Summary: I was using OnlyOffice for my programming consultancy business for several years already. It is so far the cloud-based service that has all mandatory tools I need in one place, however some good-to-have tools are missing (i.e. Kanban board) and some other tools were not updates for years (tasks, timesheets.)

Positive: OnlyOffice has many useful tools in one place, which I use for my consultancy business. To my knowledge it is the only platform that can edit documents, provide invoicing, tasks, generate timesheets, allow working with several e-mail accounts in one place. And this is not the full list of features! I think OnlyOffice is very cost-efficient because I need only one license for everything.

Negative: some tools are not updated for years. Adding tasks is much more tedious than in some modern SAAS platforms. Timesheet generation is not flexible enough (can't customize monthly reports). I also didn't find a way of connecting OnlyOffice to some ETL automation / no-code tools.

Summary: Pretty surprised by this tool used online as first experience of collaborative editor. Can easily outclass the best of currents editors available in the market.

Positive: Used to share information among students for online course.

Simple, clear enough for everybody and stable.
- 10+ peoples can work on the same sheet without problem ;
- collaborative tools such as chat, block "undo last" action...
- integration of tables, images (with crop system, rotate..)

Negative: Copy/past what most editor does it's own way and sometimes it's quite "strange". But the docs is well made to find out how to.

Summary: I like ONLYOFFICE, because for my private needs, it has all I need. I don't need the complete MS-Office solution for that hefty prices. There isn't an option that I miss in the ONLYOFFICE tools, and I like the fact that the use of it is very similar to MS-Office that I have to use in work, so it's not a big confusion.

Positive: fully compatible with MS Office formats, can be used on desktop or in cloud, way more cheaper than other office solutions, handling similar to MS-Office.

Negative: The offline installation version is a little bit hidden on their site, some very special functions from MS-Office are not compatible, I'm missing a replacement for one note.

Summary: Not perfect, but improving with each new version - and they are released quite often. Still the best in the open-source world. If you don't care about open-source and cloud and prefer a more intuitive layout with dark UI and native app instead of the bloated Electron framework, you might check out SoftMaker FreeOffice.

Positive: The best open-source alternative to proprietary office suites. It has almost everything they offer and it supports proprietary (docx, xslx...) formats perfectly (unlike LibreOffice) + it's fast (unlike LibreOffice)! It's cloud service and Android app are also well polished (unlike LibreOffice).

Negative: The UI layout is a bit confusing (because it's different, not because it's counter-intuitive), and there is no dark theme, so expect sore eyes if you work in the evenings/nights.

Summary: No issues with it at all. Would recommend to everyone whether it’s onsite premise or hosted on their cloud infrastructure.

Positive: Easy to setup and use. Allows us to create content and manage our files on a secure and easy manner with lots of collaboration between members.

Negative: Missing some features that I’d really like to see such as forms for building out questionnaires.
