Summary: Our overall experience is excellent. We shopped around for several options and have not regretted our choice.

Positive: Donor Perfect provides a very robust software that is flexible and detail oriented to meet the needs of any development team. The training, service and support are unprecedented. Every member of their team from sales to support is professional and knowledgeable about their product.

Negative: The database is intricate and has many features that we are currently not using. It will take some time to dig in and use it to its fullest potential.

Summary: The best move for our organization with moving to Donor Perfect. It has allowed us to reach more donors and understand our donors in a much better way for connections we never thought were possible.

Positive: We love Donor Perfect for the ability to connect with donors and easily access retain donors year after year.

Negative: Would love to see a better Auction Software integration with Donor Perfect. They got to collaborate with OneCause!

Summary: Overall, this software makes donor segmentation possible to attain a better retention rate and increase your overall support.

Positive: We love how easily Donor Perfect integrated with Donor Search to allow us to find donors in our system with the wealth capacity to give at a higher rate if asked.

Negative: The program will not allow you to easily segment your monthly donors; this takes a more in-depth knowledge of the software and may necessitate hiring an outside expert.

Summary: In the current digital age, raising funds online is much faster since it has a global reach in shorter span. This tool helps you achieve it.

Positive: Cloud based.
Cross platform and available on most devices.
Secure and fast way to raise funds globally.

Negative: The reporting function is complex and needs to be optimized for ease of use.

Summary: I have experience with several CRMs, and DonorPerfect is the easiest to learn and use that I have encountered. The various features like knowledgebase, ongoing webinars, ability to sync automatically with Constant Contact, and continually developed program with new feature releases makes this a great product to use on a daily basis.

Positive: The ongoing training offered by DonorPerfect on existing and new feature releases. The ability to sync website donor pages directly with our database. The ability to sync with Quickbooks. The user interface is appealing and modern. The latest release to automatically thank donors with a merged letter or email is a big time saver for our staff.

Negative: You do receive a lot of features and benefits, but the monthly cost is high.

Summary: Always user friendly and if I have a question that I can't find the answer, I can call and speak to a very helpful DonorPerfect employee.

Positive: I have been using DonorPerfect for 5 years. They really listen to their customer and make improvements that make sense. Also, I am able to create a variety of reports very easily to help my boss know who has and hasn't given this year in comparison to past years.

Negative: That I don't know how to use all the tools to my advantage. Thankfully, Donor Perfect has a videos on almost anything you can imagine to explain how to use their tools.

Summary: DonorPerfect continually makes updates to allow us to improve our donor retention through better donor communications and records.

Positive: I love that we can upload a photo of our donors to their record! Along with the ability to breakdown contacts for a particular campaign by steps taken with each meeting ( for example: presented campaign materials in virtual meeting, showed campaign video, etc) along with corresponding notes as to what materials they were sent, what suggestions they had, their photo ensures that we'll be easily able to remember them when they next visit our facility!

Negative: I wish the photo option allowed for a bigger display so it was easier to view. It would be nice to allow more than one photo, to store for social media purposes with the donor's permission, for testimonials.

Summary: I've been using this software for years, and I'm quite happy with it. It allows us to track our donors (and there are LOTS of things you can track), balance with our accounting department, and run vital reports for the agency.

Positive: Their customer service is THE BEST I've ever encountered! They respond in a timely manner, know what they're doing, and send you an email with the step by step instructions on what they walked you through.

Negative: There honestly isn't anything that I don't like about DonorPerfect.

Summary: Our organization is so pleased with DonorPerfect. It is a well-developed and thoughtful program. Their integrations with other programs can also be helpful depending on your need.

Positive: DonorPerfect is, well, perfect for our organization. The interface is so user friendly and has so many options for customization. The reporting tool is helpful and easy to learn. If you are struggling, DP has an incredible chat feature where you are actually chatting with a real person. Their assistants are knowledgable and friendly, regardless of what level of help you need. I'm always really impressed by how DP works to make helpful changes. They welcome suggestions that can continue to improve their product.

Negative: Reporting can be a bear at the beginning. I would highly recommend taking any and all training/video resources you can on how to create reports. It will save you a ton of time in the long-run. I often find myself doing a lot of extra edits outside of DP when I export the reports to Excel. To avoid this, chatting with a representative or taking more video trainings would help!

Summary: The overall experience has been incredibly positive. I am not quite sure how we would keep track of our donations had it not been for DP. Favorite part is definitely the support team, least favorite is that sometimes the receipting can get confusing.

Positive: The support team is incredibly responsive to both call and text, even during peak work hours and during the pandemic. The reports are also very versatile, and we always get all the information we need. The ability to track everything from campaigns to sub-solicitors is very useful to help produce marketing data. The knowledge base also covers everything I've had questions on.

Negative: Minor bugs, but those get fixed just shortly after I notice them. If I were to nitpick I could say some things could be more aesthetically pleasing.

Summary: My organization has been using DonorPerfect for 3 years now and I cannot say enough positive things about the program. It is very easy to understand and to use, even for novice users, but can be used to produce the most intricate, detailed reports. The DP support is nothing but helpful, no matter your situation. They help you to understand what the problem is and how to resolve it so you know for future use. Having online giving and forms included in the system makes for such a seamless online giving program. DonorPerfect is constantly making updates and changes, often times taking suggestions directly from users, and editing to make the program as useful as possible. I can't say enough about our great experience over the last 3 years.

Positive: I could easily list out dozens and dozens of pros for DonorPerfect. It is very intuitive to use and very clean. The program has a wealth of options for use, from data entry to contact tracking to online giving and event planning. It can be accessed on a desktop, on mobile, and through an app, making for access anywhere.

Negative: The very minimal con I can think of is that reporting takes some practice to understand and operate at best capacity, but the training they provide is excellent in helping you learn and understand.

Summary: Overall, I think this is wonderful software. As someone who is newer to the non-profit world, I was able to pick up DonorPerfect with ease. I feel fully supported when I have questions and feel empowered to engage with my constituents based on the data in DonorPerfect. I would highly recommend any non-profit to consider donor perfect for all their fund raising and data basing needs.

Positive: DonorPerfect is extremely simple to use. There is easily accessible tech support, tutorials and an online community that can help answer questions.

Negative: Some reports have too much information whereas others do not have enough. The compound filters can get a little tricky.

Summary: We're so glad we made the move to bring in DonorPerfect. We saw positive results with our donor pool almost immediately.

Positive: We are a small non-profit. DonorPerfect has been a great platform to leverage our limited personnel support to achieve maximum impact for our donors. The integrations with 3rd parties, and a la carte packaging, have allowed us to customize and tailor to our specific needs.

Negative: It can take awhile to master all of the various components within DonorPerfect, but the support has been excellent and enabled us to get it done.

Summary: I really appreciated the clarity and the color coordinated charts and graphs. If some of the technical stuff can be improved it would make the experience even better.

Positive: I found DonorPerfect to be very clear and easy to use. I was able to find what I needed without having to search too hard for it.

Negative: It took a long time to load and sometimes it would stop loading.

Summary: Tech support and chat support are very helpful and available! I would not consider changing sources.

Positive: The software is well designed, user friendly, and easy to add data. The webinars have been great too

Negative: I cannot think of anything I do NOT like. The team has made it easy to learn.
