Summary: New to Donor Perfect, but not development software, I'm satisfied with the product and how it works for our small non-profit.

Positive: Donor Perfect listens to its users - changing/adding/revising to make the system more logical and intuitive. Actively soliciting input from users is the best way to improve the product.

Customer Service has NEVER let me down!

Tips, pointers, webinars, etc., all help with new (and seasoned!) users.

Negative: After spending time with filters and reports, it becomes easier. A bit of a learning curve, but worth the effort.

Summary: Overall, there are not a lot of programs out there that does what we need done, as far a keeping track of donors and donations, so Donor Perfect has served a useful purpose.

Positive: I like that it is relatively easy to enter donors & gifts, because I do this on a daily basis.

Negative: Donor gifts that are made electronically are not always recorded corrected, so must be checked to insure accuracy. Program is a bit costly for a small organization with a very small operating budget. Building reports is often complicated and clunky.

Summary: Gave us the knowledge base to expand and grown in terms of donor relations.

Positive: Everything worked within itself and easily interconnected.
Easy to learn and teach.

Negative: Seems meant for a larger organization with a staff member who focuses solely on donations and donors.

Summary: My overall experience with Donor Perfect is exceptional. It's a safe, reliable and user-friendly platform for managing our donors and our members.

Positive: I have been a happy customer using the platform for nearly 10 years. I worked in a Pennsylvania nonprofit and now an Oregon nonprofit. I brought it to both organizations and have been very satisfied with platform and the support over the years.

Negative: The only real con that we've experienced is linking it to Quickbooks. We know it can be done but we just haven't managed to work out that link.

Summary: Donor Perfect can do anything you can imagine, and if you don't know how, their technical support staff is excellent, and their webinars are great.
I work at a small nonprofit and I do everything with DP, from guest lists to financial reports, from Thank you letters to a Donor Recognition report for the newsletter. I have yet to need something this software can't do.

Positive: Tons of versatility. Can pull any kind of information you can think to ask for. There are templates for a million different kinds of reports.
Can be used by my small office, or a huge organization.

Negative: Tough learning curve. It took awhile to get comfortable with the software.

Summary: It has been delightful to be the administrator of our data base using Donor Perfect! Any time a co-worker wants a particular report or change in the system usage, I can provide it.

Positive: The screens are fairly easy to customize.
The mobile app is used easily by fundraisers in the field.
The DonorPerfect team handled the transfer from our old donor database; they made it simple.

Negative: Prices add up for extra features. But we found a package that works well - we made compromises.

Summary: It is a flexible database that can be adopted to most non-profits.
Customer Support is fantastic, questions are answered quickly and with a high level of excellence.

Positive: The Database interface is intuitive and easy for and end-user to become custom to. The structure supports many layers of customized data fields, triggers and calculations.

Negative: Delivered Reports are ridged and cannot be adopted to include our various user created data fields. Core Features such as Events Management, Moves Management are not flexible in their design and reporting and do not allow imports to add/update all information.

Summary: Overall, with the right training, it is a great tool.

Positive: The amount of information is great. I am fairly new to the program, but what I have used is helpful.

Negative: It can be very overwhelming at first to figure out how to navigate.

Summary: I've been using DonorPerfect for almost 4 years and they are constantly making improvements. I also like the videos that we are able to watch with simple instructions.

Positive: I use DonorPerfect everyday at work. I am able to tell my boss who our biggest donors are, who gave last year, but not this year, what do we have in pledges and in recievables.

Negative: I know there is so much more that DonorPerfect offers that I don't even use.

Summary: Great system for donor tracking and report building, ease of use and great resources for learning and sharing ideas and knowledge. I've learned so much from the webinars and your trainers are great!

Positive: Ease of use and intuitiveness are some of the best features of this system. I really like the shortcut icons when entering gifts and the reports can be built and filtered easily!

Negative: Sometimes there are slow downs in the system, have to back out and log back in.

Summary: I have used DonorPerfect in many different organizations and it continues to evolve over the years. The support is outstanding, very reliable. I would recommend it highly for a small fundraising shop.

Positive: DonorPerfect does everything you need to track donations successfully. We use it for events, annual appeals, tracking meetings with donors and prospects, even in-kind donations. It is very easy to use. I can train a volunteer on the basic in about an hour, so you can get data entry up and running right away.

Negative: I wish it had more reports using the in-kind or fair market value donation field. We receive a lot of in-kind donations and all our reports have to be done by exporting the data into Excel.

Summary: I'm happy with DonorPerfect - it's a great service for the price.

Positive: I like the integration with Constant Contact, the ability to create customized reports, and the ease of searching for specific donors or types of donors. The customer service is excellent.

Negative: Setting up reports can be complicated depending on what you are trying to learn. There is limited ability to design the donation pages to your own specifications.

Summary: I use this product on a daily basis and I am very happy.

Positive: Very easy to navigate and the customer service group is top notch.

Negative: I know there's a lot of functionality that would most likely benefit me that I don't know how to use.

Summary: Great. We have been happy with the overall experience. Donor Perfect has lots of great features and fairly easy for basic data entry.

Positive: Has lots of options. I like the reports and that I can mail merge after my entries.

Negative: Some areas are more detailed to navigate. They offer great training's however which I was luckily to attend one.

Summary: I love working with DP. It is easy enough for someone to get started entering and using the data, but it is complex enough to be able to do a variety of complicated things as you get into it. Looking forward to exploring even more.

Positive: I've been using this software for several years now and keep learning more useful things. We use DP for everything from receipting donors to generating a newsletter mailing list; tracking volunteer info to managing our golf events. I love that DP listens to it's users and implements the ideas users have for making positive changes. The support team at DP cannot be beat. Whenever I need to call support I am connected with someone who knows what they are talking about and also is very courteous and patient. The training webinars they offer are awesome as well.

Negative: The only thing we have had significant problems with is the event management tool. We would like to be able to generate spreadsheets and reports with custom fields that are in events management as well as those in DP itself but apparently they don't talk well together, and as of now you can only use certain pre-made reports. Entering and using the information could be easier and more intuitive.
