Description
SAEBRS serves as a comprehensive screener for social-emotional behavior, tailored for K–12 educational institutions to evaluate students' social interactions, academic performance, and emotional health. Within a brief survey lasting just 1 to 3 minutes, administered by teachers for each student (or 3 to 5 minutes for the self-assessment version known as mySAEBRS), it assesses both the lack of negative behaviors and the presence of constructive, pro-social skills, thus providing a holistic perspective on a student’s readiness to engage in learning. The screener features a "Total Behavior" scale along with three specific sub-scales: Social Behavior (which examines skills like understanding social cues, empathy, and appropriate interaction), Academic Behavior (focusing on factors such as class readiness, attention span, work habits, and participation), and Emotional Behavior (analyzing aspects like emotional regulation, responses to stress, and overall internal wellness).
