Journal Rick Schumann's Journal: It's time to disband the U.S. Republican party 15
The so-called 'conservative' party here in the U.S. has generated into nothing but a bunch of gaslighting, seditionist, traitorous, terrorists and criminals, many of which are mentally and/or emotionally unbalanced, and posessing sub-normal IQ. They are no longer fit to participate in our government, or really be in any position of authority or power.
Additionally, if you vote for Republicans for any reason whatsoever, you could also be considered a seditionist and/or traitor; you are contributing to an organization which has nothing less than the overthrow of our Representative Democracy.
So it's time to disband the GOP and bar them all from running for any public office ever again. The U.S. is better off without them.
After that we can start rounding up the 'christian nationalists', 'white supremacists', so-called 'proud boys', and the rest of these terrorist and criminal organizations, and put them in prison where they belong.
Of course all this starts with Donald Trump being arrested and thrown in Leavenworth for inciting an attempted coup -- among his other crimes, like election tampering, fraud, and so on. Also looking forward to Ivanka finally coming out with how he sexually abused her as a child.
So remember: if you vote Republican, you're voting for people who are about as anti-American as you can get.

I have a much better idea (Score:1)
Instead of limiting our choices, just run better candidates. We''ll probably need to conscript them, like jury duty.
The democrats made this happen by not opposing and refusing to kill the filibuster to reverse republican policies when they had their majority in congress (three times since Clinton). Their "compromise" (complicity) gave the republicans all their power, and frustrated democrat voters into staying home, and shame on them (the voters) for that. They could reduce incumbency below the current 95%

It's the fault of the election system (Score:2)
Just see this as a fault of the election system where it's effectively only possible to have two candidate parties, much like a thermostat switch where you have the option of "too hot" and "too cold".
It's time to change it to a proportional system and then you'll discover the full spectrum of the political arena and not just two islands at war with each other.
Of course the current parties don't want to change this because then they will be reduced to fringe parties.

It is time for a revolution. Those that are above the law need to be rounded up and shown that isn't true. But the voters are too stupid to revolt.
