  • While you complain about one random teacher calling you a fascist, everyone else feels your pain because they are called far worse by conservatives.

    Note, for those of you that do not know, the actual definition of fascist is:
    1) A belief in your group being superior, most often proven by 'history'. In the past when we were 'pure', we were GREAT. Often described as Nationalism to an extreme.
    2) A claim that other groups are not only inferior but have actively worked against the good of the country (rather tha

    • Fascism is the belief that a citizen's goal should be the same as the state's; that a person shouldn't have the right to an individual identity except as a loyal citizen. It's also tied up in racism, but the definition of fascism is not race-based nationalism. You should probably learn more about fascism before you go about opposing it.
    • I guess that speech last Thursday in Philly did not occur.

    • 3) A claim of urgency and only this particular political party can 'fix' the situation. I.E. "Only I can help you." No you can't trust my opponents to fix it, that is impossible.

      It looks like you're saying this is the 1 out of 3 that the MAGA group doesn't currently fulfill. I would argue that they most certainly fulfill this one as well. Plenty of people have embraced the philosophy of Trump as the only one who can fix the nation, and Trump himself has pushed that idea in his rallies more than once. Indeed one could argue that idea was a big part of the January 6th insurrection; these people believed that not only were they entitled to overthrow the results of the presidential
