Just because you want to know something that is not worth including on a label doesn't mean they are hiding anything.
No, the "hiding" part comes when you lobby congress to make sure no state can pass a labeling law.
Honestly, I'd beg to differ. When you cut a human body open you're likely to find a relatively standard set of organs. Even with all conditions and permutations it is a whole less open-ended than say driving a car, where arguably a lot of odd conditions could happen at any time. In short, there's a few vital functions that that the body must uphold and if a robot surgeon does he's not making anything worse. He might not cure everything, but that's not the point.
Does it make anyone else uncomfortable that this story about industrial networks being vulnerable to cyberattacks follows immediately after a story about robotic surgeons?
How will we know the robotic surgeons have installed the most recent security updates? Will they be WiFi enabled so the teenager sitting in the hospital cafeteria can use them to play Operation and try to light up my nose while trying to take out my funny bone?

Because when someone tells me I'm not allowed to know something about a product I'm buying, it immediately endears me to the company hiding the information.

Speaking of gluten free - i tried it once. Turned out either i have a mild gluten allergy or consciously picking the food I ate based on nutritional values made a significant difference in my disposition. I was more pleasant to be around, more energetic, had less ailments, was more regular in bathroom breaks, and overall felt better.
Of course that was not a proper study and it just as well could have been a placebo effect moving in. I'm back to my old ways again with a few exceptions and do not see much of any reversal though.

With all these miraculous properties, you'd think companies would want to let people know that their food is GMO. You know, like on the label.

What we HAVE is a global network that will never, ever let you forget that silly thing you did whilst young and drunk that everyone thought was so hilarious at the time. Is that really what we want?
Maybe not. But it's kinda meaningless to quibble about the negative side effects when it's obvious the positive effects are so huge there's no way we'll give up on it, nobody likes drive-by shooting but it's obvious we're not going to give up cars. Yes, we would like a free global information-sharing network.

There has to be a better way to take down drones. Firing a shotgun in your backyard into the air is going to be some kind of misdemeanor, even in Kentucky. Something like "discharge of a firearm inside city limits" or something.
