When a nation turns its back against God, the church, and its citizens (abortion), it is all down hill from there.

I'm sure you're right. Which god again? I know I don't believe in 9999 of them, but I sometimes forget what the one is that I don't disbelieve. If these religious whackjobs are elected leaders, and represent the will of the majority, then that's that - doesn't matter why they believe. But if they're some vocal minority trying to use the state as a weapon of their religion, that's clearly not religious freedom, is it?

So what part of "land owners or majority in a democracy" was unclear to you? People are free to believe in whatever invisible sky grandfather makes them happy, and do with their own land according to those beliefs. But trying to block construction on someone else's land, or on public land if you're not the majority, is the opposite of religious freedom - it's using the state as an instrument of religion.

I'm subscribed to a bunch of Democrat newsletters and politicians' email lists. I know perfectly well what liberals want and what Democrats are pushing. I also don't even have a TV and strictly avoid Faux News.

If you think the Democrat party doesn't have immigration as one of its top issues, then you are clueless.

He's doubly stupid. Not only is he stupid enough to expose his bigotry, he can't even get the correct ethnic group. The majority of H1-Bs are most likely from India. India is not known for deserts (quite the opposite in fact, it has jungles and is famous for tigers). The slur he used is a reference to middle easterners, but those aren't a majority of imported tech workers by a long shot.

That's what these morons get for demanding resumes in .DOC format instead of PDF. I don't need someone else editing my resume, especially an employer I'm submitting it to. So why do they want it in an editable format rather than a format which is specifically designed to be read-only and to appear exactly the same no matter what device you view or print it on?

Right. Because helping further the Victorian Era sexual repression that's ingrained in our culture is a good thing. Hint: it's not. No, we don't need to go overboard with it. That being said, not so long ago 14 year olds were getting married and having children. Get over your sexual repression and just grow the fuck up.
