Seeing as Vietnam has been mentioned, I'll point out the exact same thing happened there. The war was brought to an acceptable conclusion and we pulled out before stability had been achieved. The cost that time was 4million dead Vietnamese and Cambodians. What do you think it will be this time around ?

It would be far better to take patent trials away from juries. Picking people at random and then pointing them at highly technical patents isn't something that even sounds like it might work.

The 46 red states all require utilities to give a 1 to 1 credit for electricity usage, and have to buy up to the limit for each of the states.

Either you work in the utility industry in a different country or one of the 4 states that hasn't adopted the rules you are talking about.

But they are entitled to get paid for providing a service. Net metering forces them to provide a service without getting paid for doing it.

It forces utility companies to buy a product they themselves manufacture and can't resell at a profit, all the while spending money to keep the grid up and running.

I don't even enjoy watching myself code and if I am at home will have the TV running something enjoyable like Law and Order.

By the time they are ready to embrace the future they were promised it will be gone. Ah well at least it might be an amusing hobby for them.
