Here it is 2015 and I'm the idiot for pointing out they are wrong. This is why I think science is groupthink. They made a prediction, they were 100% wrong in outcome, and I get called names by pointing it out. This happened in the past. A guy said the earth rotates around the sun and had evidence, but everyone else called him a heretic and said he was wrong and the sun rotates around the earth.

You are completely correct about the failed predictions of the enviro doom crowd (How is your soylent green today ?). Just a minor peeve though the Earth rotates on its axis and revolves about the Sun.

The camera is a joke. They are using discrete photo diodes to generate the image and the power.

Aside from the fact that their scaling claims false.

Higher res != More power
Larger capture area = More power

You can do better by just popping a solar cell next to the aray. If space is your concern a ccd sensor is going to be insanely smaller anyway

Because there's a significant number of people here that are hostile towards religion in any shape or form. The mere fact that it exists drives them insane.

Not certain I agree with you. I think most of these people are just trolls. They operate under the assumption that people who derive peace and serenity from their religion should be easy targets. When this proves false they just ramp things up to complete ass hat.

Your way leads to revolt. My way takes 2-3 generations but is done peacefully.

Google is not winner take all, nor is it a monopoly. I can't comment on it being monarchy. I suspect you are in no position to do so either. If you want a "European Tradition" that's in play here I would go with either the Mafia or just the general shakedown.

Then the stock tanks, and Microsoft buys them. Almost like it was planned when Elop was brought in.

Really because Microsoft didn't want its phone OS to gain market share ? So it needed a giant FUSTERCLUCK to make sure that worked out that way ?

The entire premise of 'anti-trust' coming from a government, ANY government is laughable in every possible way. The only real monopolies that can abuse power are created by governments and it is government power that is abused by them, as for Google and other companies that compete among each other and may become dominant (for some time) in a market - this is due to the choice of the clients, who collectively vote for that company to be in a more dominant position at that time.
