An anonymous reader writes: After building his own DIY version of Google Glass a few months ago, AI and VR guru Rod Furlan finally get's his hand on the real deal. Writing for IEEE Spectrum he says: "Glass shouldn’t be defined by its current software package. Its brilliance lies in its form factor and multimodal natural interface, which translates into a user experience fundamentally different from anything I’ve experienced before. ... Perhaps the best description of my experience with Glass is that it feels like having artificial senses spliced into my existing ones."
