Not politically correct for this day and age? The whole situation over there is straight out of prehistory and should be solved that way. The Israelis want to tear down Palestinian owned buildings? The Palestinians, as the weaker group, should send rockets back. Should this state of affairs be tolerated? No. One side or the other needs to crush the other side until there is peace. Or, one side has to make zero aggressive moves for long enough (5 years?) that it is demonstrable to anyone who is unbiased that one side is clearly abusing the other. At that point, we get back to the Biblical solution but without fingers being pointed.

I can understand if you do not feel like answering freely in a public forum. It is a highly charged situation and you are in the center of it. I have had rockets and mortars fired at and land near enough to me that I could hear the air moving around the outside of the mortar casing and feel the pressure wave from the rocket. Scary stuff. I lasted two and a half years under such a bombardment and I then I had to leave or weird things would have irreversible in my brain. That makes me ask this: How can you sit there and take it without just going over to Gaza and smashing them until they become peaceful? I ask this on a personal level as I know the answer on a political level.

So I happen to not physically be in America and I was not aware that paracetamol and acetaminophen are the same thing when the doctor asks me if I have taken any Panadol (what? Paracetamol)... so I say no and he proceeds to start pumping a thousand milligrams plus directly into my veins. Yeah, but I had taken Tylenol and some cold medications, which combined, had placed over a thousand milligrams of acetaminophen into my system previously. A thousand milligrams of acetaminophen here, a thousand milligrams of paracetamol there. Another thousand in rounding errors and a continuous drip into my veins... Who cares right?

Needless to say, my liver goes, "WTF dude?" and 6 months of hell proceed to occur. Some Milk Thistle and time allowed everything to more or less return to normal.

Yeah. It should be illegal to put that shit into ANY product other than one distinctly labelled as acetaminophen aka paracetamol. Hm. I am going to have to disagree with you there. A false sense of security can be gleaned from such data; however, a false sense of security can be had from NO information at all. A false sense of security is a failing in the security practitioner, not a result of the data. For example, let's say someone has done this analysis and thinks they are secure and then reads your comment. They then know the limitations of what their data can expose and can continue to look for more subtle traces leading to discovery of more sophisticated agents operating within their systems.

A false sense of security is in essence another formulation of what I call the arrogance problem. Always keep your mind open to new ideas and interpretations and you can avoid this issue more often than not. I hope you did not get modded down for displaying a potential problem. You were a bit harsh but skins should not be thin here.

Yup! In 7th grade Geography class. The very first period we covered it started with how to properly unfold and fold it. Then we went on to the symbols and what they meant, etc etc. We also learned that all Interstate Highways that are North/South are odd numbers and East/West are even numbers so if you are in I40, you are heading either in an easterly or westerly direction and if you are on I55, north or south.

Honestly, there is no simple and easy answer, such as stealing back from the Bush Family. Ultimately, it is about power and control. There is a drive within most everyone to be absolute ruler of the world. Some people are fairly close to achieving that; others, not so much. Some are not even trying. Regardless, when focusing on control, other things such as fairness and equality are nowhere to be found, which is the situation we find ourselves in currently. That is why despite the wealth of the world increasing in a jaw dropping manner, very few people get to actually see or touch that wealth. 35 billion dollars? LOL, chump change.

What is funny is that the bank accounts of these people who would control the world are all relatively small. 200m in visible wealth is an abnormality. Who needs money when you control trillions of dollars worth of resources and industry? Who needs to buy a personal jet when you own a controlling interest in a company that owns a dozen or more jets? Ownership of such trinkets is considered a sign of being one of the "hired help".

In short, you have no idea what you are fighting against. You sense inequality, see some wealth, and attack... not realizing that the wealth that you are attacking is legitimately earned. I read about it in a Navy Safety magazine that I can not remember the name of now. Flightline? Regardless, the story is even more intense than what that web page shows.

One pilots radios in for an emergency landing and ATC grants permission. The second pilot radios in for emergency landing and ATC tells him he has to go to a different airfield because they are dealing with an emergency already... and the second pilot lands anyways because there is no way he is making it to another field. It is absolutely amazing that both pilots not merely lived, but landed their planes safely. Just wow.

The pilot of the plane that had half of a wing missing had no idea half of his wing was gone until he landed and saw the destruction (apparently, he was more interested in landing than surveying all of the damage while in flight). The avionics compensated for all of that damage. Amazing.

It is because humans appear to be pre-programmed to help innocent young children out. Predators realize this and play to it all the time. "Think of the children" is an attempt to short circuit logic on the victim by the predator. Sometimes, it is not a predator but someone who has been victimized by such a predator before and apes the behavior in the hopes of eliciting similar results... not realizing that it makes them a predator too.

Regardless, any time I see this crap. I tell myself, "burn them all". Crime does not occur simply because there is opportunity. There are plenty of opportunities for crime that are never taken. Yes, opportunity does play a, significant I believe, role, but it is not a determining factor except that if there is no opportunity, there is no crime.

Whatever drives the need or desire for crime is the thing that makes criminals look for opportunities. Increasing the need or desire for crime, I suspect, would provide an incentive for a criminal to learn new techniques if their normal opportunities are not not available; therefore, a secure operating system along with a consistent need or desire for crime may indeed push a virus writer into learning social engineering as well.
