Ted Danson may have, but who the fuck does he speak for? no one. Are you just pulling out things random people have said and now your claiming that they are experts? And that they speak for the scientific community?

In Ted Danson's case, he testified before Congress on behalf of an environmental group, so no, I'm not just pulling out things "random people" have said. These are people who are trying to affect socioeconomic policies by making wild statements they claim are backed by science.

I don't think they landed very well at all.

Some of them didn't bother to learn how.

A month later, they (Atta and Al-Shehhi) spent another $1,500 for three hours of flight simulator training at the SimCenter, near Miami. An instructor said they concentrated on turning aircraft, rather than practising the more difficult manoeuvres of take-off and landing, which he thought was unusual.

Why do we *need* to travel at all? Autonomous transportation in many cases is simply very inefficient teleconferencing. At least this is true in business.

Because sometimes there's real value in being there. Sure, most of the information you get from a conference or meeting could be found online, or you could watch a seminar remotely, but you don't necessarily get the same experience and make the same contacts that you would from a face-to-face meeting. Often times, you end up learning things at a conference that you didn't even know you were looking for.

But that triggers me.

Sorry, should have put up a warning first. But that leads to another question: is it the actual overweight, butch lesbians in flannel shirts, sweatpants and Birkenstocks that trigger you, or seeing the phrase "overweight, butch lesbians in flannel shirts, sweatpants and Birkenstocks" in writing that triggers you. And if so, how would you give a trigger warning for that?

Actually they can still have booth babes they just need to look professional. Personally a beautiful woman tastefully dressed is more of a turn on than the slutty look anyway.

I know you mean well, but you're completely missing the point.

He missed the point, but he did not mean well. That's why we can't have nice things.

Then that will have to be banned as well. All you get is overweight, butch lesbians in flannel shirts, sweatpants and Birkenstocks! And if that turns you on, they'll switch over to information kiosks narrated by an asexual monotone computer. And if that turns you on, well, I don't know what they'll do.
