A friend bought a set of brainwave sensing cat ears at Pax East two weeks ago.

The difference between consumer-class and enterprise-class 3D printers are minor. Controlled temperature environment is one of them.
As soon as one of the small fish is advertising features of the so called enterprise-class 3D printers, they are sued into oblivion by Stratasys and others using their patents.
The problem is not even the parents.
The problem is affixing the magnet in a piece that can break or be sucked by the toddler.
Just like there are regulations about using lead paint on glasswares and plates, there should have been rules about using strong earth magnets ON toys.
Banning the sale of magnets AS toys is stupid.

I think Lepht is still in "repairing Lepht" mode, so she probably won't be trying this new nanocoating. But it could definitely help hedge cybermancers who practice in their kitchen.

A magnet used as a locking device for the clasp of a book, magnets used in a toy train to hold them together, etc.
