My 4 year old Galaxy S is running Android KitKat 4.4.4 and it actually runs faster with KitKat than it did with Gingerbread 2.3 and has more features. Of course Samsung didn't upgrade it but at least someone who was willing to tackle it was able to.

To keep this post on topic how is this different than Bluestacks? I've been using it forever to run Android apps on my PC. I've heard people pan it for being buggy but I've never had any problems with it.

You're funny...I was the mobile device manager for a large energy company at the time. I had an HTC Wizard (Windows Mobile 5), a Palm Treo, and a BlackBerry 8700 all strapped to my belt testing them for the company. Everyone wanted the new Windows Mobile phones but as soon as they would get them they would return them. Why? The battery wouldn't last a day and their old BlackBerry could go two weeks without a charge. I follow the industry closely and read about the Apples iTunes phone the ROKR months before it was released. I got to play with one and was underwhelmed. But it did have pretty good battery life...compared to the iPhone.

I've seen a similar study taken apart on the grounds you suggested but not this one specifically. I'm skeptical to a fault of everything but even more so when huge sums of money are involved and the alternative sweetener arena is just such an animal. I've seen reports of all the disastrous side effects of Aspartame and vehement denials and counter reports but I've also seen first hand the negative affect it has had on people I know. Even if this study were not accurate there is enough evidence for me to avoid HFCS where/when I can. That said I eat a lot of things daily that contain HFCS. But when I have a choice I choose sugar or stevia or agave.

Stevia is a naturally occurring sweetener. While it may prove to have its own side effects it is not considered and artificial sweetener.

Actually...that might well be the case! I've seen stories trying to debunk this study but it sure looks solid from my perspective.

That was the original iPhone. Apple commissioned Motorola to build it. Steve Jobs wasn't happy with the end product and terrorized his design team to come up with something better. the first touch screen iPhone abandoned battery life which was the metric all phones were graded on until the iPhone. It caught the entire industry off guard that people were all the sudden willing to give up battery life for the new shiny. Those that fail to study history are doomed to repeat it.

The 6s won't be out until September of 2015.

I've been running Waterfox (Firefox recompiled as 64 bit) for over a year. It's usually a week or two behind the official FF release but it runs well. In fact it co-exists with FF and the configuration is shared between them.

Unless your figures are adjusted for population that would make it about a 1:1 ratio with the UK as the US is five times more populous. That and correlation != causation and all that.
