Why is Slashdot's link color so fail?

Comments Filter:
  • They use non standard colors to match the rest of the color scheme, and sometimes the links aren't even underlined.

  • ... because it's slashdot, that's why. After all the other UI fails, why would you expect anything else? :-) (or was it just a rhetorical question?)
  • It's not just /..(how does that differ from /...) :D
When I use Google to search and must look at a much of different things which may be the same os others I looked at before I sometimes have to set the user-prefs to use my own colors.
It makes links red and blue instead or blue and off-blue, I can't tell the difference quickly enough.
Unfortunately everything else looks bad so I change it back when I find something good.
What I want is a FF extension that turns text links only to the same blue for unlooked at

  • Never had any trouble with the link colours here. Sorry.
