Journal damn_registrars's Journal: Ben Carson Shows How To Lie 37
Ben Carson's campaign on Friday acknowledged he never applied nor was accepted to the U.S. Military Academy at West Point - a tale he included in his autobiography and that he has repeated since then, POLITICO reported on Friday.
Carson's campaign said the account of receiving a scholarship offer from the prestigious military school was a fabrication.
But, of course, as he has the correct consonant after his name, this is all fine and dandy, right?
campaign manager Barry Bennett told POLITICO in an email. "They told him they could help him get an appointment based on his grades and performance in ROTC. He considered it but in the end did not seek admission."

With all the Hitler references the Republican candidates have been making, it's only natural that Carson follows Hitler's tactic of the big lie - make it big enough ("they wouldn't lie about something as important as that"), repeat it long enough ("if it was a lie, they wouldn't keep insisting it was true"), and people will swallow it.

Because they are totally in love with his campaign and don't give a damn how dishonest he is or how blatantly he lies in the name of self-promotion.

Easily the biggest non-story of the past few weeks.
I do not agree with. There are certainly bigger non-stories, even relating to him (the "Egyptian pyramids as grain silos" story comes to mind in particular). Unless you are talking about how the media will quickly bury it, in which case it will have a shot at being the biggest story nobody hears about.

Ah yes... And your Obama was always quite immune to such shenanigans, of course... Gotta admit, Mr. Smith is right about you... just you two trolling each other. Funny that you never speak up for the candidate you will vote for. You will just complain about him/her after the election, the republican is a liar (always funny coming from you), and the democrat "folded" under pressure. Eh, you're not for real anyway...

To give you credit where it is due, you certainly do a great job of advocating for who you will vote for - by of course advocating for nothing. So at least in that regard, you do have some footing for your argument to stand on.
Beyond that, well I can't force you to read my comments.

I'm just doing 'Green' again. As a convenient alternative that is on most ballots, I advocate that non-voters go for it to see what might happen. Anything but a republican or a democrat, and only the non-voters can pull it off since you all are hopelessly locked in. They are a good size majority that can make a difference. And we definitely could use them on the anti-prohibition front, and various initiatives. Oh the schadenfreude! Your idea of advocating for nothing does intrigue me. Seeing as that the"som
