I remember the anti-drug ads where some shady drug dealer would approach an 8 year old to sell him or her some pills or a baggie of powder. And the kids would just say "NO!" and run away.

I often wondered how that could be a viable business model for a drug dealer. I mean little kids aren't really looking for drugs and they don't have much money.

They should do another dozen of formal reviews, audits, and investigations at both the state and federal levels into the 2020 election. Maybe they will finally turn up something since you seem so convinced there is something there. Because your gut feeling in the matter is important!

When I lived in San Jose a big Mexican dude would look out for my house when I was at work and once beat up a porch pirate. Later I found out it was his cousin he beat up.

When the economy collapses, support systems collapse, then my recommendation for anyone who hasn't been able to get their family regular meals for days or weeks: find anyone with a nice house, Tesla, etc and take what you need to survive from them.

That said, I see nothing like the Occupy movement of 2011. People either don't know they are being screwed over and stolen from, or think that it doesn't matter if they protest it or not. We have far further to slide before any "VERY ugly" scenario plays out, given the average person's lackluster response so far. We as a people have an even greater capacity to silently suffer indignities than you may realize.

Surveillance protects us all. It is a keystone in keeping our nation safe and free. Think about how you never have a package stolen off your porch anymore. And how our bicycles are totally safe in San Francisco, no need to double lock and remove the seat anymore. And let us not forget that mass surveillance prevents terrible crimes like summary executions out at sea. And even prevented a pedophile and adjudicated rapist from being elected President.
