Do you put it through a TSA body scanner?

Unfortunately, despite having a bachelors in CS, and several years of web programming experience, I have only recently discovered OOP design patterns. They are very useful methodologies, and I think today's programmers, especially in the web development arena are far too ignorant of these useful additions to one's toolbelt.

I never really needed a printer until my employer folded last year and I went freelance. At that time I discovered my broken ink-jet that had been sitting for a year needed to be replaced. I also discovered the black & white laserjet which was given to me a while back, and since then had been sitting untested in my basement, actually worked! Today I bought a color laserjet at a huge discount (was a display model). I'm happy, and I say definitely go for a laser over a shitty inkjet - especially when, like me, you'll go long periods of time without using the printer.

There is no evidence in the story that suggests that Microsoft logs messenger conversions. For all you know the chat logs most likely came from the PC's of the persons involved in the case.

How's that? At the end of the day it is the votes that are counted.

Sure, you may decide you agree with the message of IBM or CWA and vote accordingly, but at the end of the day it is your vote that makes the difference.

But, if I profited just one penny on each copy, then I would be in violation.

So, say you had a shop, and one night I came in and stole your inventory. If I give away your inventory for free, I'm ok, no harm done. However, if I sold your inventory for even just a penny, then I should be guilty??

I'm pretty sure there's some clause in the first amendment that would prohibit such a limitation. Maybe that clause which does something like.... "or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press" ... I mean, you'd like to think that the constitution really means something, I guess.

I just don't know why you think the public can't unite to create lobbying organizations. The public has been uniting to do that very thing since 1944. The way to pull that off, while not an option to most, is to get a TV that has netflix streaming built in, or a Roku, or other Device. The LG TV that I just got does this, and works well. My only other compaint is that Netflix's online streaming selection is rather limited.
