Submission + - More problems with computerized voting machines?

jmorris42 writes: "The hits just keep on rolling. Here is yet one more reason why computerized voting machines are so tricky to get right.

The NYT has (registration required) has a story today about a new problem. Foreign dictators owning the companies building the machines.

Here is the money quote:
"The government should know who owns our voting machines; that is a national security concern," said Representative Carolyn B. Maloney, Democrat of New York, who asked the Bush administration in May to review the Sequoia takeover."
